The streets of Vrindavan are swept clean of dogs, cows, people and garbage as the holy city prepares for President Mukherjee's visit.

Just getting started on Wordpress blog about my life in India - including my own Western style recipes (a SoCal girl can only eat so much daal and roti) establishing a sustainable social enterprise and working with the destitute widows of Vrindavan. Thanks to +Tony Vainosky for my blogging tip/help of the day!!

Maybe I could afford this in SoCal!  Lol!
I find this intriguing and absolutely amazing. I would absolutely build & live in one of these. This is such an amazing idea

Kindle Unlimited: Why the Sky is Not Falling

About a month ago, I was in the middle of a road trip through Canada with Stan when Amazon announced that it was moving to its “Netflix” model (it didn’t call it that but everyone else did) by allowing readers to pay a monthly subscription fee and download up to 10 books at a time.

I came out of my lobster-induced stupor and took notice: Amazon was following the Scribd and Oyster model of offering readers the chance to read as much as they wanted for one flat fee. Not 10 books per month, but 10 at a time.

So if you’re a voracious reader, or if you just want to read specific chapters of different how-to books, Kindle Unlimited is your friend.

Panic!

Over on the interwebs, though, authors were freaking out.
