Do you sit all day? Poor posture increases risk of death by up to 44%! A ground breaking study in 2004 proved a significant relationship between bad posture and early death from atherosclerosis and pulmonary disease (heart and lung disease). SO WHAT DO I DO!?

1. Sit up: As you work, keep you ankles beneath your chair (in line with your ears). This will engage your core, allowing you to sit longer and be more productive.

2. Stand up: Sitting puts excess stress on your low back, give it a break by standing, pushing your hips forward and leaning back.

3. Breath: Take 3 deep breaths/hr is enough to circulate your entire lymph through your body as well as circulating life giving oxygen to your muscles and brain.

4. Get adjusted! Find a good chiropractor in your area to promote healthy spinal movement, taking the pressure off your nervous system, heart, and lungs...and helping prevent "shy turtle" posture
