Toomas is a hackepreneur, geek and a founder of ZeroTurnaround who has profound interest in programming, infrastructure and operations. He thinks he is a good fit for Devops because of his background but in reality he still does not understand what this magic word means. Hudson/Jenkins has been his close buddy for years churning CPU cycles at the server park and the chemical synapses of his brain. In his spare time he plays Go, Squash and enjoys Starcraft at GomTV.

Critical revisions to JUnit to modernize it for 2017. My favorite slide from the Java Posse presentation at Devoxx.

Hi friends, sorry to bother you on this rainy Wednesday in Prague, but I'm not only excited but also proud to announce the release of our [in]famous Developer Productivity Report 2013

So what's it about?

For a long time, developers have known that the tools we use and the methodologies we practice have an effect on the quality of our software and our ability to delivery releases predictably. However, this is often a gut feeling based on anecdotal evidence with no numbers to support this theory. Wouldn't be cool to see actual numbers on how doing Code Quality analysis, Pairing Up and using tools for VCS and Continuous Integration significantly improve our ability to delivery quality software?

Here it is: http://zeroturnaround.com/rebellabs/developer-productivity-report-2013-how-engineering-tools-practices-impact-software-quality-delivery/

Ping me back to get the PDF version emailed to you without a sign up. And please retweet, share, link etc. if you think it's awesome. If you don't, be nice and tell me why :-) Thanks!!
