There are many reasons to love this park. The historical nature combined with amazing views and juxtaposition against the city makes it a must see place. I often take out-of-town guests here to help gain perspective on how the city is laid out. The renovations to the Point and surrounding trails are amazing! This is also where the GAP bike trail from Washington DC ends, at the delta of 3 rivers.

A must see for visitors or if you just want to appreciate the city. Going to the park during the 10 days of the Arts Festival in June is one of my favorite things to do downtown.

My favorite place in the city! Loved by everyone and extremely historic. There are always people there, a giant fountain, and a Christmas tree in the winter.

This is a beautiful park with lots of concerts and festivals in the summer. Plenty of green and open space, surrounded by two beautiful rivers. There are public restrooms near the Point State Park Fountain. Parking is a pain because essentially there is none. You have to park somewhere in town and walk through town to get here. You can also park on either the North Shore or South Side and walk across one of the bridges to get here (which I recommend).

With the convergence of the three rivers and great views of the skyline and other sites, this is a great breather AWAY FROM ALL THE CONCRETE as well as a GREAT PHOTO SPOT. But you’ll also find MANY LOCALS HANGING OUT here enjoying the fields (when the weather is nice) or the college-aged groups hanging out at the overlook near the Fountain. FUN, CLEAN AREA with little areas to explore. There’s NO PLACES TO RENT bikes or kayaks on the grounds yet you’ll find plenty of people using them around here.

If you haven't been to this gem hidden near the heart of bustling downtown, you are missing out. There are historic plaques, and interesting historical things to see. The view along the river is different that anything you'll see from the bridges.
