Pat's Landing

A good place to stop in for a rest from fishing. Right on the lake with a public boat launch and places to dock. Just walk right in! Very small, north-woods atmposhere.

Coops Pizza Parloure
10588 California Avenue, Hayward, WI 54843
A typical tourist trap, during the summer they are INSANELY busy with their lunch buffet. Avoid eating the buffet and instead order off the menu and you'll be less disappointed. They have delicious homemade crust and a seafood pizza that we like to get every year. The staff consists mostly of young people who like to forget you're there, so be prepared for more waiting. Over all, avoid eating here. Try going someplace else, lots of cute mom-and-pop places!

Tremblay's Sweet Shop

A wonderful place for everyone of all ages. Excellent homemade chocolate candies and fudge of all kinds. Every year they come up with a new creation you just have to try. Lots of normal candy offered as well. Very reasonably priced. Kids will love coming here to watch them made their homemade taffy and fudge!

The Waterfront
14810 West, County Highway K, Hayward, WI 54843
We visit Hayward annually, and no trip is complete without a visit to The Waterfront. I highly recommend their generous (and delicious) Friday fish fry. It is a little on the pricey side, but you get giant endless proportions to enjoy. The atmosphere is typical of north woods resturants, woodsy with a bar, but the service has always been friendly. The only word of warning I can offer is to arrive early and expect to wait, during the summer The Waterfront gets -very- busy with people coming by car and by boat.
