This place is awful. The reviews are either fake or from a while ago when it used to be good! I didn't listen to my friend who got food poisoning and went anyway. Last night I was up vommiting every hour coupled with diarrhea. Definately don't eat the pizza, but you really shouldn't eat here at all. The food lacks authenticity and I would rate the flavor poorly despite the food poisoning.

great home style northern Indian Punjabi food, feels like eating at home. decent prices. lots of space to sit down and enjoy food.

G.I.F. keeps the menu simple, and the taste plentiful! My lady and I were stuffed… and we both ordered the $7.99 "mini" plate! GREAT FOOD FOR A GREAT PRICE! Right by Amoeba Records… check 'em out!

Pretty good food. It's got a good kick to it, but not overly spicy. Simple decor with Bollywood videos and music playing. I would come again. (From Houston, TX)

It became really gross after they started serving pizza. Everything tastes like it's been standing all day and street bums always stink up the place.

One of my favorite places to eat in the Haight - the ambiance is not what you would expect, but the place more than makes up for it in great-tasting Indian food at an even better price. The rotis as Indian-style burritos (I love the chili chicken) and the rice bowls are under $5 (I always go with the shahi paneer).
