Super good steaks. They excel at steaks. So when you go here, get a steak. Other foods are good too but not exceptional like their steaks. Old classic and dated design which in this case is very attractive and makes a big city feel a bit smaller and you can actually feel like a local here. If you're in a chill mood you can hang out at the bar. Our neighbours said the burger was also super good. Some of the desserts are made right in front of you which is a fun experience but way too sweet for me.

I was in Seattle on business and we wanted to have a fine dining experience at a steakhouse. I am a steak lover and have been to many steakhouses. This is by far the BEST steakhouse I've been to. I tried their speciality Waygu beef sample which gives you four 4oz of their best filet selections. It melted like butter in my mouth and the flavor of each steak was just divine! The hostess was so personable and the service was great! We had a phenomenal experience and looking forward to our next return in December.

What a find in the Financial District, a portal to New England. From the Maine Root ginger beer to Cape Cod chips it was a great experience. My first lobster roll ever and it was all I expected. Succulent and buttery goodness. They have another location in the Park Plaza hotel at Central Park.

Went there for happy hour. The place was hopping. Staff was helpful, but the drinks and the appetizers are rather expensive (25 for a 4 shrimp cocktail). However, everything was very tasty.

What exactly I would say is that it was okay. It's pricy. I am not a cheap person. And when I eat good I pay well. But this place as I think mostly charge you for location. I don't think that my friend's steak would worth 60-70 dollars. I had glass of wine and dessert and paid 40 plus tips. Plus we had gratuity because we had a room. Waiters were good. Nothing against them or any food. I just don't thing it's reasonably priced 😕 unfortunately don't want to go back again. My be happy hour. (I was told that on happy hour you can get a good meal for a reasonable price). But not for dinner. Thanks. P.S. I don't know what's wrong with all you people. Why you leave like 4-5 stars and you not happy with price. If you don't happy show it. Let them know it's pricy. Just saying even my friend's steak could be bigger for that price. But it was nothing special. Just small peace of steak for $60-70. 😕

Terrible experience. Was there for Happy Hour expecting a taste of what might have been in the main restaurant. The menu read well but the quality and execution was awful. Beef tenderloin screwers wrapped in bacon were tough as leather, certainly wasn't tenderloin but a cheap cut of meat keeping the food cost inline. Roast beef sandwiches again were filled with a tough cheap cut of meat making them inedible. Boiled prawns in beer were tiny, with three to a plate and finally the Buffalo Chicken wings were pathetic and tasteless. Overall a very poor representation of what is supposed to be one of Seattles top steak houses. If you are going to try and attract new clientele by offering a happy hour menu then get it right and be proud of what you are serving. Try and knock each dish out of the park if you want us to step across the line and eat on the other side. With our happy hour experience we will never cross that line... You guys obviously don't get it! Your only saving grace was a decent gin and tonic, but then that's pretty hard to mess up... Won't be back..

Enjoyed Metropolitan Grill for the first time on a girls weekend. The food was amazing! We shared bone-in filet, American lobster, calamari, asparagus, lobster mac and cheese. But an even bigger treat was the impeccable and personal service. The entire staff - hostess, bartender, waiter, manager - were attentive and provided the perfect amount of service and sociability. The bar and restaurant were beautiful. Definitely a high quality establishment that I will visit again.

I went there for happy hour and it was awesome! The place was rocking for a Tuesday at 5pm and they have a great bar menu that is a fantastic value up to 6pm. The beef skewers were tender with great seasoning and it blew me away how much food for $7 as the quality was A+. I am from out of town to Seattle and I go to a ton of steak houses and this by far was one of the best! The staff is so friendly, food was great, prices very reasonable, and I will absolutely come back when in Seattle. A special call out to Kevin the Maitre D who went above and beyond making the experience great.
