I went there for happy hour and it was awesome! The place was rocking for a Tuesday at 5pm and they have a great bar menu that is a fantastic value up to 6pm. The beef skewers were tender with great seasoning and it blew me away how much food for $7 as the quality was A+. I am from out of town to Seattle and I go to a ton of steak houses and this by far was one of the best! The staff is so friendly, food was great, prices very reasonable, and I will absolutely come back when in Seattle. A special call out to Kevin the Maitre D who went above and beyond making the experience great.

Excellent atmosphere, service, and food quality. Prices are reasonable considering. Would recommend at least one visit if in the area for a group outing.

It's been awhile since I went in. I loved the beverages (we had a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages). My mashed potatoes were way to garlicky. Service was great. My boyfriend enjoyed his dinner, but did end up getting sick for the next 24 hours.

This review is of our 2nd visit to The Met and sadly we will probably not return. There were just too many unsatisfactory issues this time. First, my sazerac came delivered in a martini glass with a cherry. I was so so so very disappointed that I'm still recovering tdoay. Our server did offer to take it back and have it fixed but I declined. Second, our appetizers were not up to par. The calamari was overcooked, rubbery and chewy. The seared Ahi was mediocre. The cuts were a bit too large. I prefer pieces I can delicately place onto my tongue rather than have to shove it into my mouth. The sear didn't have much seasoning either. I was really looking forward to enjoying the Ahi too. Our entrees: 16oz Ribeye and Wild King Salmon were not extraordinary. Both dishes were tasty and we enjoyed it but our tab total of $356 for 4 people just didn't sit well. Hubby felt the ribeye wasn't valued at $62 for what was delivered. King Salmon was grilled to what I could have probably done. Servers, staff and valet were wonderful, friendly and attentive.

The service was excellent and venue was professional. The atmosphere was a bit noisy to me, rather than a calm quiet setting. There's lots of motion about the place, which adds to the noise and bustle which made it appear crowded. It wasn't unpleasant by any means, but I would say Daniels broiler lends it's self to a better setting for a family get together. I shouldn't have to raise my voice to speak to my wife or mother on either side of me. They advertise "The best steak in town" but the Ribeye I received was sorely lacking, far from the best. For $62 I would expect a flavorful well marbled steak, a cut taken from the back end of the rib, one that has a fair portion of cap, rich in flavor. I would expect a steak for such a price to leave a lasting impression as one of the best steaks I've had. The steak I received was as if it was straight out of a package onto the grill. Literally no cap, just the center as if it was a prime rib without any seasoning. I wouldn't describe it as tender, but rather stiff in texture and lacking any real flavor, just meh. It reminded me of the kind of steak I would receive from the Bitter lake Outback that went out of business years ago. While they did cook it to a perfect medium rare, it lacked anything unique or memorable that I would expect from a $60 on a steak. Typically USDA Prime is what... $13.99 a lb at your local grocery store. The grass fed angus USDA Choice is $18.99 a lb. My brother-in-law has the same impression after having tried their steaks on multiple occasions. Daniels broiler on the other hand I do remember as being one of the best steaks I've ever had. Treated my wife, then my fiancé when we graduated college. Their wild mushrooms too were lacking any punch or uniqueness. They tasted bland, as if sprinkled in Italian seasoning and then fried in water. How do you mess up mushrooms!? Honestly all you have to do is take a slice of butter and toss it in a pan on medium heat. Nothing I tried said gourmet to me, just ok.
