The origin of their powers seem to be taken from the Ultimate Fantastic Four series where they venture into the Negative Zone.

Avoid if you hate spoilers!
Fan Made Poster by CAMW1N Some more photos from the set of Deadpool have surfaced, and they feature Ryan Reynolds and his stunt-double in costume taking on Colossus. Or at least a giant man named Andre Tricoteux dressed up in a motion-capture suit, who will be replaced by a CGI Colossus in the final product. There are also shots of Ed Skrein as Ajax and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.  Some of the photos may conta...

Remember those who are gone ...
The presidents of Russia and France joined other leaders Friday at ceremonies commemorating the massacre 100 years ago of 1.5 million Armenians by Ottoman Turks, an event which remains a diplomatic sore point for both sides.

Compared to what those thugs were doing, she was respectful in that photo.
Air Force veteran Michelle Manhart was arrested in a clash with campus protesters who were trampling over the American flag after grabbed the flag and refusing to give it up.

This is probably going to show up on the Good Wife.

I'll revise that, I'm sure this will end up there.
A new mayor of a Missouri city had a tough first day on the job when she was met by police at City Hall, and informed she had been suspended over allegations of voter fraud.

Are the Iraqi pilots ready for primetime?
The Iraqis are getting a batch of American F-16 fighter planes to run combat missions against ISIS, but questions remain over whether they can fly them.

What they really need is a modern equivalent of the Able Dog, AD-4 Skyraider. But does anyone remember that during the first Bush War there were a number of cross country flights that ended up in Iran. But hey, money has never been a problem. This latest one was going to pay for itself out of oil revenues. I seem to remember Fox beating the drums at the time.

Creepy looking. Hope it does justice.
We’ve got a new preview for you to watch for the upcoming new take on the classic horror movie Poltergeist. It includes footage from the film along with some commentary by producer Sam Raimi and director Gil Kenan on reintroducing the story and making it accessible to modern audiences. Poltergeist is a contemporary take of the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying app...

Yay!
Earlier this month David Duchovny said that Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi ) and the Cigarette-Smoking Man (William B. Davis) would be reprising their roles in the upcoming limited series event of The X-Files.  Pillage took to Twitter earlier this week to confirm that he will indeed be back in the role of Skinner, which makes me believe that Davis will be back as Cigarette-Smoking Man as well. Here’s what the actor said regarding his r...

Is this what you learn at frats these days?
Investigations have been launched at two universities over accusations that fraternity members taunted wounded war heroes, urinated on an American flag, and spit on a wounded veteran and his service dog in Panama City, Florida.

For purposes of discussion, I believe most experienced mariners will say, where live-aboard or work-aboard boats are concerned, ugly is almost always better than sleek and modern looking. For example, if your anchor jams in a storm, what you really, really want are big strong ugly waist-high stanchions (handrails) and handholds & safety line connection points everywhere.

IMHO, the marine equipment design process is 99% logic and 1% style.
