Atheism and the Illuminati - New Religion?
Of interested is considering the common view of atheism as being anti-religion and how atheism ties in with the Illuminati.Apparently, due to Dan Brown’s book “Angels and Demons” and the corresponding movie there is occurring a feverish internet search for information about the Illuminati.

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/07/frantic-billionaire-gop-donors-beg-kochs-to-back-trump/

The Koch’s have a network of super rich donors to fund elections and influence government policy. Basically it’s legal bribery. It takes a lot of money to fund an election, so those that don’t play ball with the Koch’s don’t get to play and lose their elections as the Koch network funds their opponents.

Doesn’t that sound like something the Illuminati would do? The FFRF and the groups mentioned in the article sometimes put up a billboard or run an add in a paper. They don’t have massive media budgets to put people into high office.

Let's play pretend.
You are completely correct. Human caused climate change is a hoax.

We still have a few problems.
1. Oil, gas and coal will eventually run out. We will need to switch over to something else eventually anyway. Why not start the process now and do it gradually so there is minimal disruption to the world economy.
2. Other than CO2, fossil fuels contain pollutants that affect us and the environment negatively. So let's switch.
3. A lot of oil production is controlled by countries that are less than friendly to us or have values that are antithetical to our own. By switching to alternative energy we reduce the demand for oil and those countries lose the power they now have.

If you actually could prove to me that climate change is a hoax it wouldn't change anything. We need to wean ourselves off of this energy source and move to something else.

The rest of the world has seen this need and are doing things about it. China, that has an abundance of cheap coal, is spending billions on nuclear and has plans to build 30 nuclear plants in the next few decades. Most of Europe is going wind and solar, while France has long gone Nuclear. Have you taken a drive through Wainfleet recently? In the last year a literal forest of immense wind turbines have been built. Last year I took a drive out by Dunnville. I lost count at about 40 turbines. My son has been working his behind off installing solar all over Ontario.

Regardless if it's a hoax, could you agree it's something that needs doing?

There is a strong belief in global warming by many in spite of the fact that over roughly the last 150 years the temperature has risen roughly 1.6 degrees F. So are our instruments actually sensitive enough to detect only a 1.6 degree temperature change?

Several scientists have stated that the gathering of temperature data generally is from airports due to the necessity of airlines knowing if it is safe to fly or if the wings of planes might not be able to be de-iced.

But these scientists say that cities have typically built airports outside of cities to allow the room for aircraft to take off and land. But over time cities grow out to encompass airports where the temperatures are recorded.

These scientists say that makes surface-gathering of temperature suspect.

Retired teacher, early technogeek, amateur entrepreneur, internet marketer. financial services provider, scooter rider and former teacher.
Introduction
Retired teacher, writer, blogger, webber, interpreneur, financial services provider, financial seminar provider, computer nerd, amateur photographer, scooter rider.

I enjoy traveling with wife Ellen and taking photos of God's beautiful creation. We have traveled to the east and west coasts of United States and Canada, along Route 90 in northern U.S., enjoyed an inside passage cruise to Alaska from the beautiful city of Vancouver. We were blessed enough to visit the U.S. Southwest including the Grand Canyon and  places such as Death Valley when for the first time in 20 years, flowers bloomed!

We drove over the Sierra Nevadas both ways, saw our first orange trees near Bakersfield, CA, stayed at Pismo Beach  and drove the beautiful coastal Hwy #1 to Monterey, CA where we stayed in the beautiful Monterey Beach Best Western.
