Bad service!!!!! We were told they were out of chips at 1:30 in the afternoon. I asked if they could make some and the waitress said they were too busy. The cafe was half empty. They were out of Barbacoa and the menu said breakfast until 2. We were told the menu is wrong. We waited 15 minutes for drinks. We used to go to this place every special occasion upon the request of our relatives that live close by but we will find another establishment. Food is over priced and the service is horrible! They were so busy that the owner was sitting on the patio having drinks with his friends! Thanks for the great Mother's day guys.

I would say that Mary Lou's has the best chorizo taco in San Antonio but that's not really accurate. They have the best chorizo in the world, hands down. It's not just the chorizo though, the tortillas are amazing. If you have never eaten here you are doing yourself a great disservice. Please take some time to eat there for breakfast you won't regret it. WARNING: You may never enjoy chorizo from any other restaurant.

The food is good BUT, I question the owner Joel's integrity. I used a gift card to pay for my meal last Wednesday. The waiter swiped my card three times thus withdrawing $105 for a $35 meal! The waiter admitted this mistake to Joel who said he would resolve this problem no later than Friday. It's now Monday, nothing has been corrected, and Joel (the owner) is not taking my calls, and when he does answer he hangs up on me. This is no way to run such a fine establishment. The good taste of the food does not cover up the aftertaste of really bad customer service. I cannot ever recommend Mary Lou's to anyone I know.

Love this place. It has great food and a clean atmosphere, very chic and up-to-date. We eat here often and the food is always good, including breakfast. The prices are very reasonable and the wait staff always friendly. Ask for the spicy cocina or "kitchen" sauce, very tasty! They have several to choose from.

I really like this place, yeah It’s a little pricy but totally worth it. Food is great and the chips/salsa and tortillas are to die for. This place is totally out of my way but I make an effort to eat breakfast and dinner here once a week. Also for Thursday the Lunch Special is Enchiladas Verdes and they are the best in town….and I think I’ve had them everywhere. Only advise I can give is just go for the food….the service and parking might suck but it’s worth it in the end
