Erica Mauter: Why do you like him over Kendal Killian (or whoever else might be challenging)?
Ed Kohler: @Erica, the 10th Ward has some great challengers to Meg. If it comes down to anyone but Meg, that's the person to support.
I known Ken for a few years through the work he does with Environment Minnesota, and think he's a guy who can bring diverse groups of people together to solve problems. He's a great listener and coalition builder. That's quite different from what we've seen from Meg.
Compared to Kendal, I think it's worth meeting both of them to decide for yourself who'd be a better fit for the ward and city in that role.
Also, I think Lisa Bender would be a great city council member but probably hasn't lived in Minneapolis long enough to get elected at this time.
Erica Mauter: Cool, thanks, Ed. There are lots of new faces challenging all over the place and people I know are already endorsing, so I'm asking. And wishing something more exciting were happening in Ward 11.
