Scripting adding a DNS NS server via Powershell  Add-DnsServerResourceRecord -NS .

We have to do this when we have remote sites come online. Not too often but enough to warrant me not wanting to have to do it manually. Reading the Microsoft Powershell documentation for this cmdlet is more than a little daunting and confusing.
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj649925.aspx

So what do you do? A little google-foo and guess what? Apparently no one else has had to figure this one out. This was the best resource I found for help - and it was multiple choice.
 https://books.google.com/books?id=1vvZAwAAQBAJ&pg=PA155&lpg=PA155&dq=Add-DnsServerResourceRecord+ns+nameserver&source=bl&ots=vHmG5ycrTw&sig=1PBe0euQ_c3CLVwwfbMD7YNjP_8&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CC4Q6AEwAmoVChMI3Lnjpb2kyAIVy5eACh3PnQu7#v=onepage&q=Add-DnsServerResourceRecord%20ns%20nameserver&f=false

That was helpful. So hopefully if you run into this issue this will be helpful for you.

#This is the server at the remote site or the Name Server to allow zone transfers
$DNSNameServer = "DNSZone.Local"

Add-DnsServerResourceRecord -name "." -ZoneName DNSZone.Local -NameServer $DNSNameServer -ns -ComputerName ADDNSServer01.DNSZone.Local
Add-DnsServerResourceRecord -name "." -ZoneName SubZone.DNSZone.Local -NameServer $DNSNameServer -ns -ComputerName ADDNSServer01.DNSZone.Local

How To Automate Changing The Local Administrator Password
The first thing that might come to mind is to use Group Policy Preferences. Because of the security concerns with storing passwords in Group Policy Preferences, Microsoft just released a security patch, MS14-025: Vulnerability in Group Policy Preferences could allow elevation of privilege, that removes this functionality. Once you apply this patch, this is no longer a usable option.
