This is my first year living at the province. I am a Sophomore at the University of Louisville and I live in a four bedroom apartment here at the Province. I'll start with the advantages: -parking is excellent, all buildings have Peking right outside and upon move in you are given a pass to hang in your car to easily get in the gates. -location is great. These are the closest apartments you can get to campus without paying $700 per month on rent. Yes cardtowne is closer, but their rent is more expensive, it's not as safe, and you have pay for parking. -pet-friendly starting fall 2016 Disadvantages: My roommates and I chose the cheapest floor plan available, paying $594 a month. Honestly, I think that is way too high for the quality you receive. However, as it is a part of University affiliated housing, it is expected that rent will run higher. The layout of my unit is not the best. The bedrooms surround the common area making it that if you are in your bedroom, you can hear everything in the kitchen and living area. I found this frustrating on nights I was trying to study when my roommates were able to socialize and vice versa. I like that all packages go to the province office and not at your door so no one is able to steal them.
