I helped coordinate this Huffington Post post on Senator Elizabeth Warren's speech at the Know Your Value seminar. You will be surprised at how she responds to a jerk during a job interview - Don't ask me to type.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/04/10/elizabeth-warren-women_n_7041680.html?1428693501
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) attributes her success to three bags of M&Ms. That’s what it took for Warren to potty train her daughter so that the then 2-year-old could be enrolled in daycare while she attended law school. “...

Calling all Broadway aficionados, Broadway producer Wendy Radus Federman will be speaking at the Wharton Club on April 16. My friend Wendy currently has 5 plays running on Broadway including April in Paris which opens tomorrow,. Her talk is open to the public. You don't have to be a member of the Wharton Club or even a graduate of Penn.

I received this in response to my survey of women's conferences from The Atlantic's Washington Editor at Large Steve Clemons
Thanks for sending this -- great piece and covers arena well. i share many of your observations. i think one of the outliers that came out the issue from a different angle was our program about the least powerful women out there and how they were dealing with their circumstances -- which we did with Maria Shriver and the release of the Shriver report. I think always focusing on the top end glosses over the endemic structural biases against women in our system. all best, Steve
very glad you are doing this sort of survey though as the proliferation of womens' forums has resulted in a veering away from the issues that are probably core to gender equity and womens' advancement. I hope you get a lot of eyeballs on your piece. all best, steve

After my initial elation at the rise of conferences for women, I decided to dig deeper and check if anything substantive is being accomplished at these events. Or are women's conferences simply an excuse for a feel good work day away from the office?...

I worked with super lawyer Alan Dershowitz on his blog post defending himself against the charges that he lacks compassion for rape victims. There was much back and forth. Dershowitz fought like he was in the courtroom. So much fun!

Of course I have compassion for rape victims. That's why I, and everyone else who shares that compassion, should show no compassion for a woman, like Jane Doe #3, who has made up a false story of being raped by a man she has never even met, in order...

I helped put together this HuffPost story on Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's troubling allegations of corruption.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has hired a well-known lawyer described in the Israeli press as a "specialist in white-collar crime" to represent him and his wife if they face criminal corruption charges. Jacob Weinroth is conside...

I interviewed acclaimed lawyer Alan Dershowitz for this story about the sexual accusations against him. He ferociously denied the allegations that he participated in an under age sex ring.
He told me that the witnesses against predator Jeffrey Epstein were not innocent. They were prostitutes, junkies, and many previously worked at a whack shack. I never thought that I would hear the words whack shack come out of Dershowitz's mouth.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/03/alan-dershowitz-sexual-assault_n_6410380.html
Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz on Friday dismissed as "a complete and total lie" allegations of sexual assault levied by a woman who claims she was kept as a sex slave by billionaire investor Jeffrey Epstein. "I was ...

I had a BIG SCOOP today. I was the first to notice that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu used video from his controversial speech to Congress in his latest campaign ad. This is especially appalling because congressman are forbidden from using video from the floor in their own campaign ads. This story was a team effort. Thanks to my friend Guy Spigelman who helped me find the video after someone else alerted me to its existence. My friend Hanoch Rabinovitz and cousin Zvi helped me translate it. The Washington team actually wrote the story.

WASHINGTON -- When House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) announced he had invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress just a few weeks ahead of an Israeli election, he was criticized for giving Netanyahu a p...

I critiqued women's conferences for the Huffington Post. I was tough due to my desire they be a force for social change. Can you believe the United States is one of the few remaining governments in the world that still don't mandate paid maternity leave?

I call Netanyahu an ass, but will always defend his right to do what the thinks is the best interests of the security of the Israel. #Netanyahu

Jewish Democrats need to suck it up and support Netanyahu's speech no matter how uncomfortable it makes them. Yes, this is the first time in a long time when Jews have had to choose between being a Jew or Democrat first. This isn't the big deal that ...

Hoping to save 35 lives today. Super lawyer Alan Dershowitz asked me to facilitate Harvard professor Charles Ogletree's plea to Oregon Governor Kitzhaber to commute the death sentences of those on death row in Oregon in his remaining hours in office.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/charles-ogletree/gov-kitzhaber-your-job-is-not-yet-done_b_6699056.html?1424197048
In his last few hours in the Capitol Building, Governor Kitzhaber has the opportunity to undertake perhaps the most courageous act of his career, one that would create his most enduring legacy -- the Governor can commute the death sentences of the 34...
