  XXXXX: I have been emailing, calling, and asking about this for 2 months now

As I checked it shows that we already processed the refund last December 30. It will be refunded to you within 7-10 business days. The estimated date will be on January 14, 2015.

My sincerest apologies for the inconvenience that happened. I understand your concern and no worries, I’ll be more than willing to help you since we always want to make it right for you here at Motorola.

What I’ll do right now is I will escalate this incident to Order Admin Department, for them to expedite the process and have the refund sent to you as soon as possible. They will get in touch with you within 24-48 business hours about the best possible resolution to this. Rest assured, this matter will be taken care of.

  XXXXX: I am sorry but what exactly does that mean?
  Apple: Because it was already escalated with the Order Admin.
  Apple: You must need to wait for the feedback because I've already consult with the Order Admin, your refund is still on process.
  Apple: We will give you the feed back once it is done.
  XXXXX: just so I got this right...I returned the phone and it was received by your warehouse on Dec. 18, 2014. Now February 6 you telling me it's still in process to get refunded?

  XXXXX: ok...who do I contact to get beyond Order Administration? 
  Apple: The Order Admin will contact in you once it is done XXXXX.
  XXXXX: I want someone to call me and explain why it takes 2 months...and countless attempts to get this resolved. I have called, emailed, talked customer service chat and still have not received my refund. 
  Apple: If you didn't receive the refund, you may contact with your bank regarding that XXXXX.

Read the whole thing it's actually pretty thorough. Oh and thank you Verge - I am now 100% (and ~$600 less poor) convinced this is not the phone for me!
