The owner and chief chef here is Italian, from Bologna area. Has culinary degrees from Italy and USA. REALLY knows his stuff and he is extremely creative. Everything he makes is delicious and I have never had anything short of excellent here, and I have been there numerous times. As genuine Italian as it gets in the USA. They also make terrific limoncello, arncicello (orange), limetacello (lime) and pompelmocello (grapefruit). You simply cannot go wrong here, whatever you order is going to be special.

Small plates are great for sharing. Wine is always good as a pairing to any of their dishes.

Small and authentic. Everything is homemade and very Italian. Great appetizer plates and a nice little outdoor area when the weather is good. It's our favorite in the area.

A pleasant surprise! Stumbled upon this place knowing nothing. Had an excellent and extremely knowledgeable waitress, and the food was perfect.

Gave three of my friends food poisoning. Not "upset stomach" food poisoning, "go to the hospital to not die" food poisoning. $1100 in IV saline, and the miserable gits won't cough up for the bill. (Apparently four food poisonings a year gets you shut down?)

We enjoyed our first visit overall. A highlight was a special appetizer featuring shrimp, scallops, and fish with marinated vegetables. Our second courses were over-salty and portion sizes are small. A pasta with mussels and clams was quite spicy and a bit of a disappointment. Gnocchi with duck was a novelty and very tasty. Service was efficient. Reasonably priced wines by the bottle or glass. The dining room is simple and cozy. I didn't care for it as much as a lot of other reviewers seem to, but it's definitely worth a try.
