If it's the class students like the most, and also the #1 source of all new wages in the country, why is computer science taught in only 25% of schools? #CSforAll (Survey details: http://bit.ly/1UHbnZi)

Today marks the 3 year anniversary of the Hour of Code, a teacher-led movement to introduce students to at least one hour of computer science and demystify this foundational 21st century subject. As we prepared to kick off the 2016 Hour of Code for Computer Science Education Week, we passed an amazing milestone: 300 million served in 3 years. This doesn't mean 300 million unique students, because many students repeat the tutorials. But we can confidently say that at least 10% of all the students on planet Earth have tried the Hour of Code. To the hundreds of partners and hundreds of thousands of educators who support this campaign, this is an amazing accomplishment.

More info on the methodology behind this number is here: https://code.org/loc
