Happy Father's Day to all the dads!

Just in time for #fathersday a new #VersesInVox featuring a beautiful poem about a father's relationship with his children.

#poem #poetry

American poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, wrote "The Children's Hour" about his relationship with his own three daughters, even using their names in the piece. It was first published in 1860 in the Boston-based magazine, The...

I took this photo and meant to post it the other day for Flag Day but I completely spaced it out. So here it is. A few days late.

I want this!
The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition is a miniaturized replica of the original NES system, and comes pre-installed with 30 NES games and an NES Classic Controller.

Is 3D audio something #podcasters  should consider? Here's one podcaster who gave it a shot.

"The path of least resistance leads to crooked rivers and crooked men."
-Henry David Thoreau

This one has been attributed to several folks throughout the years, but after bit of research I concluded that Thoreau was probably the originator. There are lots of variations floating around as well, but regardless of who said it first, the sentiment is a great one.

Why is it that folks who typically pronounce the word “envelope” like “IN-velope” will say it like “ON-velope” when they are using the phrase, “pushing the envelope”?

We've lost another one...

#AdventuresInOdyssey  fans have lost another favorite actor from the classic AIO era. About a month after the death of Alan Young (Jack Allen), Janet Waldo (Joanne Allen) passes away. They were both 96.

Introduction

Circle me if you're interested in podcasting and related technology, food, and Android.

Here’s a bit more detail:

I love reading and writing; I always have. Aside from some poetry, I also write articles for my church's newsletter that focus on issues that Christians face in life.

I blog about podcasting and related technology topics at www.jdsutter.me.

I am also a singer and music lover.

I enjoy photography although I don't feel I have enough skill to even count as an amateur photographer.

I have traveled around the U.S. a lot and lived in 16 different cities in 5 states. I have also been to Canada and Guatemala, but that is the extent of my travels abroad.

I think that’s all...

I love the selection. Fish, steak, meatloaf, chicken and all kinds of side dishes. Pretty good quality too.
