I would say that this place is between 3.5 and 4 -- just because of the lack of care for smokers on the patio area.. if you have a sign that says no smoking, can you just actually carry through with it? This place is lacking some backbone! I enjoyed the patio until all these smokers came. I don't know how to enjoy food when smoke is in my face, and they all knew they weren't supposed to anyway. They were all hiding the cigg under their table. Staff are cool and nice -- we came before the crowd and once we went in, no one really gave any attention, but it was okay since when we approached them they were patient with us because they knew we were first timers. Food is great-- I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich, but I was expecting it to be on a regular hamburger-like bun. I was surprised when it was on two hot dog buns. However, I wish the bread was toasted -- it was all soggy blehh.. the meat was tender, juicy, and SPICY!! What a kick.. the pickles didn't taste much like pickles as they did cucumbers.. There is a pitcher full of iced water near the entrance to the patio, great because I always ask for so much water. Self-serving water is much better!!! You have to order drinks and food at the bar, then tell them where you are going to sit -- they give you a number and then food comes to you! You can either pay once you order or when you leave. They play some weird movies on the TV and the bar area is pretty dark and loud! But makes it more exciting.

Hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had. Depending on the time of day you go (kitchen opens after 4p) will be a factor in wait time but no matter how long the wait is, it is worth it. The fried chicken portions are huge and are served with biscuits and honey butter on the side. Pure heaven. They have a pretty solid draft and drink options to help wash the delicious fried chicken down.

This place might be a little hard to find because there isn't a sign on the awning or door. There is outdoor seating in the back and it not really a big place, but it draws in a large crowd. The people forgot about my order, so i ended up waiting a while for the food, but as long as you have company, time flies by a lot faster. We got free drinks because of the food that was forgotten, so they were very cool about keeping us customers happy. I really like their chicken because it was juicy and tender. I also tried the adult cheese sandwich, which was very different and delicious from your typical grilled cheese sandwich. Everyone was very friendly there so this is a pretty cool place to check out.

Their signature drink packs a real punch for a piña colada. It seems like people come here with small groups to be themselves. But isn't that Williamsburg in general.

The adult grilled cheese was tangy and enjoyable but nothing superb. That also went for the chicken club and the oyster po boy. The food was decent, the scene was unremarkable, and the staff was okay.

Since I am originally from the Deep South via New Orleans, Louisiana, I could MOS DEF appreciate the Southern Fare and ALL that this entails. Nuff Said. {SMILE}.
