Make it a Happy New Year
I’m just guessing that the most common word that will be spoken at the turn of the year will be “happy.” You know the scene… It’s preceded by a big countdown, some shiny ball dropping, and is often followed by a kiss, perhaps a drink, and a familiar song. ...

Give Your Team Something to Fight About

Stan Fischer and Mark Fischer, I nominate you to take the ALS #IceBucketChallenge. Read more at http://www.alsa.org/fight-als/ice-bucket-challenge.html.

Dear Great Googlers,

If you or someone you know is wanting to share some of Google's goodness with other teachers, Five-Star Technology Solutions is actively seeking two eCoach positions: one for a school district in SE Indiana and one for a school district near Bloomington.  They need to be a licensed teacher with a passion for edtech & student learning.  We will provide lots of training, resources, and support. Anyone know of a teacher that is looking to venture out and take a different path in their educational career?  We would love to talk with them! They can contact me at bfischer@five-startech.com or Lisa Cutshall at lcutshall@five-startech.com.

Hello and good morning GEG Indiana.  I've been using and regularly presenting on GAFE since 2008. And yet, I find myself always learning something new and amazing with what it can do. I look forward to learning and sharing with this group. I am currently a Director of eLearning for Five-Star Technology Solutions. My work centers on providing strategic planning, instructional assessments, and professional development for school districts. I previously led the technology department at Danville Community Schools in Danville, Indiana as the Director of Information Services for 15 years after beginning my career as a high school mathematics and computer teacher.
