Michael Fahl: I'm late to the party by only a couple of years. After reading this blog my thoughts on dialetheism and analetheism and "bounded contradiction" via logical explosion and (logical explosion's associated "covalent relationships") seems nicely reiterated in some of these mentioned posts. Glad +unspeakable is lallie laloo linked me to +b.e. hydomako here. I particularly liked the 'contextualist , essentialist' binary. Where I have been thinking in terms of the "diffuse, discrete" set.
The idea of the self and other collapsing has been a form of major insight for me. Instead of "mundane, divine" I've been conjuring "mundane, magical" or "man, x-man" . But I do like "context, essentialist" as an overlay to "environmental echo, environmental expression" .
I find +Danijel Drnic writing relatable, and have been writing to an old love about turning us 'red' as he describes his brain in a red area. I then think again of my attempt to avoid red items, red food, and red environments to little avail. Thought of how I had a red car, now I race red cars. But more importantly how it is scriptural that Moses parted the "Red sea"
As I study data clusters and family resemblance and impose 'structure'(d) definition on top of them, for the sake of (anti)racial argumentation. I also think of the infinite internal and the finite external, in inverse.... the "digital, analog" etc etc. gotta love Derrida also.
Anyway I'm not saying much now other than this blog's abstracts alone is a great mental meal for me to consume.

I am also glad +unspeakable is lallie laloo decided to call you over, +Michael Fahl. I was unfamiliar with the words 'dialetheism' and 'analetheism' and had to look into them, which has led to more things I ought to read, heh. More than that, it has led to the occurrence of a couple synchronicities, so that is, hmm, let's say "satisfying" (but other things too, like, say, "intriguing," and "inspiring").

I'm also glad that you found something of value in the material posted to Labyrinthe.

A cursory examination suggests that dialetheism and analetheism likely fit into the binary pairing model: one suggests all the truth-values whereas the other suggests the negation of that: the absence of truth-values...

Typically, I think about discrete as pairing with continuous (likely an artifact of thinking about mathematics), but (diffuse, discrete) seems to also bear fruit--thoughts turn to, say, (wave, particle)...we might also think of (diffuse, concentrated)...

I use "divine" mostly as an artifact of Religious Studies--more "appropriate" in certain contexts, say, but (mundane, magical) seems reasonable as well...

I'd be interested in discovering more about what you mean by "environmental echo" and "environmental expression"...

And while I have some sense of what "man, x-man" might mean, it also leaves plenty of room for further discussion...

There is plenty more, and my use of the ellipses in the above intends to indicate the same, heh...
