Yes, It's the same guy from the 60s. Remember "Run Around Sue". One of the comments: "One of the finest acoustic blues recordings of blues covers in decades. Just Dion with his 000C Martin cutaway and the Hurdy Gurty man on some percussion!"

When you make a mistake just adjust the plan so it looks like you did it on purpose. :-)

I recently made a small toy airplane for my grandson that went wrong. A hole I was drilling was crooked. It was to crooked to use. I plugged the holes and changed the design so I Didn't need to drill the holes. To my surprise, people like the plugs and think I did it intentionally.

Now my error is a design feature.

Hot Rod Freaky Ford 27 T Bucket in Lavender/Lilac. I don't know what the color is really called. It's oops paint from Home Depot. The color varies a lot depending on the lighting or your monitor. On some monitors it looks grey I'm told.

Odin wanted a cow. How hard could that be? It turned out to be a bit more difficult than I expected.

I made two cows using a drawing I got off the internet. The first one I glued the image to one side of a piece of MDF and cut it out with a scroll saw. It was OK but it looked odd having one side. I didn't have a the back of the cow so I decided to make it the same on both sides.

After several tries I finally got one that was acceptable. Not perfect but its usable. I printed it on 60 100 bright Hammermill paper using and Epson Stylus Photo R280 inkjet photo printer. I mirrored the image with Gimp. I cut the image out as square as I could using a metal drafting triangle and razor blade. I indexed to a square corner applied the print out with thinned Elmer's white glue. The base is MDF. I cut it out on my scroll saw and coated it with one coat of clear shellac.

It's been 1-1/2 years and the horns are still on the cow. So the MDF is holding up. That's way better that I can say for the two T-Rexs I made for Odin from plywood. Then the cows don't get into fights.

My grandson Odin loves wop-wops (helicopters). When I decided to make a helicopter for him I did a search of Google images to get some inspiration and sketched the body on a piece of wood and hunted up some wheels that would fit. The rotors were made buy drawing three circles and connecting them with lines. I worked so well I made a pattern from the finished toy in case I want to make more.
