A Glimpse Into the Past
©Tisha Luk

On a drive back from Tobermory last summer I had Brandon pull over so I could capture this scene. The field was a golden yellow, the sky full of dramatic clouds, and the old decaying red barn anchored it all. The beautiful colors are what called to me, but my love of black and white won out in the end. Enjoy!

Coffee Table Cameos
©Tisha Luk

I had some more fun with old cameras today and it turns out that my new coffee table decor works well for props. Win! Anyway, this is a Regula King KG Bad Liebenzell that was owned by Brandon's dad. It's now become a piece of our decor, and of course a subject for my photography. Enjoy!

Fantastic Film
©Tisha Luk

I'm kind of fascinated with old cameras, and yesterday I decided to drag one out and take a few images of it. I used a shallow depth of field for a more interesting feel, and I quite liked the result. Anyway, enjoy!

Celebrate Earth
©Tisha Luk

Today is Earth Day and what better way (well for a photographer) to show my appreciation of this wonderful planet than to share with you a bit of its beauty. This is a shot taken at Middle Falls in Letchworth State Park in New York. I posted a similar photo last October, but I like this perspective too. Enjoy & Happy Earth Day! Let's strive to live every day in appreciation of and do our best to take care of this wonderful planet.

Thrice the Isolation
©Tisha Luk

I was browsing my archives while doing a Lightroom clean out and came across this trillium I photographed back in 2015. I used to use this technique of isolating subjects on a black background a lot. Maybe it's something I should return to.Enjoy!
