What a racket this place has with TNT & Flower City towing companies. I arrived to meet a friend for an early lunch at about 15 minutes before 11:00 and they were not open yet. We parked our cars and decided to walk around and look at the Cornhill area until they opened. Surprisingly we came back for lunch at 11:10 and her car GONE, it had been towed in like 20 minutes and I am not exaggerating!!! Must have been a Nathaniel's Employee that called them to tow it....because think about what a racket that is....we park and maybe 20 minutes later the car is GONE...didn't take long that's for sure.... someone is getting kickbacks for the pricey $130.00 cost of the tow! BEWARE OF SCUM ARTISTS AT NATHANIEL"S PUB!!!! The food is nothing special and the service is lacking a seems funny how this place could hold up in such a newly developed and updated district that Corhill claims to be... Not worth your trip, spend your money elsewhere.

On Wednesday, June 19th I was eating lunch at Panzari’s Italian Bistro between the hours of 1pm and 2:20pm. Due to the lunch time the rush, the parking lot was very full so I parked outside of your pub which is located in the same parking lot as Panzari’s. When I had finished lunch, I went back to my car to find it missing. I went into your pub and spoke with a bartender asking her if she saw someone take my car and was told that it was probably towed. She was very aloof and didn’t seem to know where any of the signs were in the parking lot giving me the name of the towing company or why it was towed. I eventually found a sign noting the towers name and address, however the red & white sign above this sign stated that the parking lot was for restaurant and shopping patrons; I was a restaurant patron. Because this sign states you must be a restaurant patron to park in the parking lot and my car was towed even though I was visiting a restaurant in this lot, I believe I was a victim of predatory towing. The City of Rochester law (ordinance 83-317, section 108A-7) regarding towing practices clearly states, “The signs shall state that unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense and shall contain the towing company's name, the telephone number to call to retrieve towed vehicles, and the street address where towed vehicles may be retrieved.” I took video and pictures of all the signs in that parking lot and can prove that there is no sign that states the parking places in front of Nathaniel’s Pub are specifically reserved for patrons of the pub while also stating that if you park there, your car can be towed at the owner’s expense. I can also prove by my restaurant receipt from Panzari’s along with having a witness with me who was also having lunch that I was there between this timeframe. Needless to say, I will never be going to Corn Hill Landing Plaza owned by Mark IV Enterprises, trolled by TNT Recovery & Flower City Towing and will be telling everyone I know about my experience.

My wife had a gift certificate for here, so we checked the menu on-line and reviews. We saw a lot of negativity but decided we ought to try it since we had $25 already paid for. We went on a Thursday about 6pm. It wasn't crowded and we got really prompt service. We sat a a table, were offered a sample of a new beer on tap (which we tried). We ordered beer and got 2 pints in a normal time. We ordered just after that and got food in what I thought was also reasonable time. The waitress checked on us twice during the meal. Food was great (I had a wrap and my wife, a salad). Overall, very happy. Maybe they saw the reviews and got things together. In fact, I mentioned this to the waitress after we paid and she said they'd seen them, so maybe I'm right.

We live in the Corn Hill Neighborhood and desired a plate of nachos. Upon searching the area we decided on walking down the street to Nathaniel's Pub, a restaurant we hadn't tried that was three blocks away. Upon entering an almost empty restaurant/bar, we waited 10 minutes while the the female bartender (short with dark hair) socialized before she took our order. It then took another 5 minutes before she brought our drinks. She continued to socialize through the time that our food was delivered by the cook. She didn't check on us for another 15 minutes when we flagged her down for another drink. She approached us with mouth full of food and poured our wine, while smacking at the mouth. She also spilled the beverage all over the counter. We are constant patrons of local restaurants around Rochester and have never received such poor service as this. We will never return.
