We were referred here and saw the good reviews but were ultimately disappointed. Rather than set a mood, the restaurant simply doesn't provide any lighting. We repeatedly asked for sparkling water, but never received it. They were out of most of the entrees. The food we did get was lacking; pretty sure my wife's chicken sandwiches was a frozen tender on a bun, no fixings at all, my duck leg was good, but the sausage tasted terrible and I had way too much beans. The root beer float was good as was the gelato for dessert. However, all this was overpriced. Lastly, our server was slow, inattentive, and made multiple mistakes. Not sure why our experience differed so much from all the others, but I do not recommend eating here.

Stopped in just for cocktails. Bartender not only took great care, but was more than happy to talk to us about all the subtleties of what he was doing. In my opinion best sazerac in at least the French quarter, if not the city. Can't wait to go back.

Great cocktails. Food is good too; a little pricey.

Had their "famous" chicken sandwich. The chicken was pretty dry. The sandwich was saved by the pickles.

Shaved brussel sprout salad was the best I've ever encountered and one of the freshest things I had in New Orleans. Ambiance is warm and romantic. The service was great. We sat at their beautiful copper bar and watched them make drinks in beakers. Delicious craft cocktails. A fun place that isn't as serious as the surrounding restaurants and is much more down to earth.

I really enjoyed this quaint New Orleans restaurant. We sat in the back garden which I would NOT recommend. While quant, the sound of the HVAC system was deafening. Outside of that I really enjoyed everything. The drinks were excellent, they had a nice selection of wines and the food was both interesting and really flavorful. The Wagyu beef belly is amazing, cured with 5 spice and braised in soy sauce before being grilled. It was not fatty at all, but bursting with flavor. The beef cheeks are legendary, literally everyone we talked with recommended them and they came through. Definitely going back (but won't be sitting in the back).

Very nice flavors, good quality food. A pleasant change from the more typical tourist fare. I had the arugula, pear, and smoked onion salad, and they accommodated my special request and added a grilled chicken breast which was very juicy and flavorful. My husband had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich which was most but not greasy, and fries were very tasty.
