Pretty much nails it.

A blunt reminder the the government has it's own interests in mind with net neutrality. It's about taxation and control.

not providing you with cheaper and more reliable internet.

I believe this, misperception stems from people misunderstanding how government works. Government has two two tools. Taxation and spending.

I've as of yet, never had a utopian statist explain how either of those tools make my Internet better. They can't, because it doesn't.

The other half of this mass hysteria stems from people believing straw men. That Comcast intentionally strangled data for Netflix. Don't you think if Netflix believed that, they would sue comcast?

Of course corporations that benefit from socialist internet, (all data being equal in outcome?) Stand with the government. Cronyism doesn't make this better. Insurance companies like the outcome of obamacare, doctors and patients don't.

So much for Apple doing the heavy lifting.

Good and balanced article. Great comment by "jonandkelly":

"Reality Distortion Field. merchants aren't adopting Apple Pay, Apple Pay is adopting the current NFC payment system that is already in place at places like McDonalds, Whole Foods, PetCo, Nike, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc. etc.

Apple just listed the stores that already accept NFC tap to pay systems or are currently going to and sort of gave everyone the impression that they all had this Pow Wow with Apple and created this unique payment system.

Let's also not forget that in 2015 Federal regulations will have merchants update their credit card terminals to meet certain standards and they will have access to NfC payment systems.

But apple will get credit for all these stores adopting this. Even though they legally had to."
Apple launched its new virtual wallet service with the iOS 8.1 update yesterday while Google has had its system running for a couple of years. ZDNet's Matt Miller took two devices to McDonald's and was able to pay without a real wallet.

I personally am a fan of the projected Nexus 6 reported screen size. The bigger screen makes it feel like a datapad from Star Wars.

Took my watch off the charger at 6:45 am. Charged for 10 minutes at five, and wore it until 10 pm with 50%. Normal usage for me, ambient mode turned of with custom watch face. I can deal with that.

PS when I said bend all the phones I meant bend ALL the phones. I find the bend test ever so much more awesome than drop testes.

So I have 3 hours logged in destiny. I'm kind of liking it so far. The gun choices are incredible and the armor combos are great.
