My son and I were traveling through the town and waiting to catch the ferry. We stopped at Waterfront Pizza and got a sausage pizza. We took it on the ferry with us and enjoyed the views while we enjoyed the pizza. I have tried to find a sausage pizza close to the one from Waterfront Pizza but have still not found one here on the East Coast.

I am adding to this review again. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PIZZA HUT KINDA PLACE. THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU. IF YOU LIKE SOME VERY GOOD PIZZA IN A DIFFERENT KINDA PLACE THEN CHECK IT OUT. NO? THEN THERE IS A PIZZA FACTORY IN TOWN ALSO GO THERE. Three months before. Well just ate at Water Front Pizza and have to say some of the best I have had ever! Seen some people complain about the eat-in area. Yes of it is a little odd, but we found it very comfortable. The service was very good and people friendly. For those who may not be use to people that live the bohemian life style this may not be the place for you. But if you are opened minded kinda people. You will enjoy the place. P.S. you will have to walk up a lot of steps to get to the eat-in area. But it is worth every step!

Pros: -Trivia cards at table -Waitress messed up our order and gave us the large instead of medium -Greek Salad is divine -Option of getting a few slices or a whole pie. Cons: -The pizza was awful. Crust was under-cooked. -No Waterfront views. -Upstairs eating area is mismatched, dirty, and old. Needs updating. -Pizza is WAY overpriced. Overall, I would not eat at Waterfront Pizza again.

Best pizza in the world. I moved to the east coast and have friends overnight mail me their sauce and crust! For sure the best pizza on the east coast also!

This is some of the best pie in the state. I am not kidding. Crust is fantastic, crispy but substantial and soft in the right places with a very slight sourdough tang. No skimping at all on toppings. I would call it a definite "american" sort of pizza, but it combines all the best elements of NYC and Napoli style pies, rolling it into a heartier piece of goodness. There's a reason for the ravings. It's just good pizza. (For those of you eating upstairs, the pie takes a while because they make it to order right downstairs and they are always slammed because it's such good pie. Got to a chain if you want it hot-n-ready or whatever else they tag-line their close-to-fast-food pies.)

I want to start this out by saying that I NEVER WRITE A RESTAURANT REVIEW UNLESS THERE WAS SOMETHING MIND-BLOWINGLY AMAZING OR ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE about the experience... Unfortunately, this was one of those that just had to be mentioned, DUE TO HOW LOUSY IT WAS. Yesterday, while on a family vacation, I stopped in at Waterfront, along with My Girlfriend, Mother and Grandmother, for dinner. Upon arrival, we were shocked by way-too-high prices of their "Specialty" pizza's, most containing only two or three toppings and costing anywhere from about $20 and ranging all the way up to $28, for a measly, 16 inch pizza... Now, I have and gladly will pay $25 for a good pie, but this place was a mess!!! There was no view of the water, and the place is called WATERFRONT PIZZA!?! the walls were painted an off-white color that had made it look like it was a smoking restaurant for years, without ever being re-painted. The tables were non-matching and the chairs were a choice of either kids-sized stools or folding chairs like those that you would take camping or to a picnic. Overall, the decor and environment were very lackluster, to say the least. Anyhow, we ended up ordering a large, half-and-half specialty pizza, salads and I ordered a beer, which I asked the Waitress to bring out no earlier than the time that the pizza arrived, so that I could enjoy it with my dinner, but that I would like water for all of us in the mean time, to which she replied, "Of course, I'll wait to bring your beer until the pizza is ready and I'll get waters for all of you right away." After a brief wait, the salads arrived, no water though, and I must say, the Caesar dressing tasted nothing like Caesar, and the only thing I could taste was the Parmesan that my salad was smothered in. After our salads, and a good half-hour wait, we noticed that other people, that had arrived after us were receiving their pizza's, so we ask about ours, and why it hadn't made it to us yet. The gal told us that since the other people's pizza's were smaller and cooked faster, that they were entitled to getting their's before us, which is just bad customer service, if you ask me. Then, about ten or fifteen minutes later, she told us that they just "ringed" our pizza in and that it should be up in no time. Well, kinda... The pizza that arrived was not what we had ordered, and was honestly lacking in toppings, if you ask me. Especially for the price! So, they replaced the half of the pizza that was wrong (supposed to be Hawaiian, but turned up as plain chz.) with a small Hawaiian, without asking what our preference was, and deducted the price of the half-pizza from our bill and instead charged us for the small, which, of course costed more than the half of the large pizza... And all without asking what our preference was!!! To say something positive, however, I do want to mention that the pizza was actually pretty good, not great, and not worth what they charge, but it is along the lines of say, national pizza delivery chains, ie. Pizza Hut or Garlic Jim's. Overall, I do not recommend this place to anyone! I will never go back!
