The Color 5 Mile race series advertises events in 100 cities and promises that runners will get to “blast each other from head to toe in thousands of color combinations.” The race series also appears to be a huge scam, according to the Better Business Bureau. For a second year, the BBB will issue a national warning against fake themed-races, spurred by a wave of recent complaints against the Color 5 Mile event.

I have used the BBB twice now, for two separate companies. My experience is that each time, the companies responded immediately to the BBB, when I couldn't get responses after weeks of diligent calls and mails. The process was simple, explained well, and the communication was excellent. BBB was efficient and obtained swift resolution. Excellent service- for a change!!! Instead of getting frustrated, turn to the BBB. Thank you!!!!

They got done what VISA Card wouldn't . I am now using Mastercard after this. The cards are supposed to have your back in a fraud case but they didn't mine. I disputed the charges to no avail., but BBB Got everything fixed in 3 weeks what I waited on Visa for 3 months to fix! Thanks alot BBB! You do what you claim and then some!...

Prior to involving BBB I was getting nowhere with the company in dispute. Once I filed a complaint, the company began responding and we reached an acceptable agreement. I've called on BBB to help on two other occasions and both resulted in positive results. They definitely know what they're doing. I highly recommend involving the BBB in any dispute.

I did not have high hopes when I was forced to resort to a BBB complaint to seek resolution on my issue with a vendor. After countless phone calls and several months of patience, I was basically told by the vendor that I was out of luck. I elevated the issue via BBB and suddenly the company was willing to work with me. Their system was very simple to use, though it does take a personal investment to document all of the details of your complaint. Very satisfied with their support!

The BBB is an amazing organization that does their very best to assist the consumer in reaching a positive outcome when there are disputes with Merchants. I have always had excellent results with their assistance, when I try alone I am ignored as soon as I contact the BBB the Merchant wants to resolve the issue immediately. The BBB is a professional, knowledgeable Organization that is highly respected!

This was our 1st time using the BBB and we were very impressed with the "electronic dispute system". It helped for both parties to respond and reply to the issues at hand. Also having "due dates" for us to complete everything helped to keep the issue moving and not get lost. Our issue was resolved and we really appreciate how the BBB assisted us along the way.

I filed a complaint on 12/29/2015 after dealing with an auto repair issue since 5/2015. The complaint was accepted by BBB of FW and forwarded to the business. The business responded to the BBB on 12/31/2015. BBB corresponded with me via email on each step of the complaint process. My problem was resolved on 1/5/2016. I was pleased with the turn around, especially considering my complaint was made during the holiday season.

I had a problem with a warranty company and the service company they dealt with for a refrigerator problem. No one at either place ever picked up their phone or got back to me. I had to call an outside company and pay to have the refrigerator fixed which I should not have had to do. I had a five year warranty. I got in touch with the BBB with all the appropriate back up and they were able to get the money paid to me that I laid out. The people at the BBB were very efficient and worked quickly. Thank you BBB for all your help.
