Been here three times playing laser tag, and two out of the three had a great time. The third time, the guy running our group seemed pretty new, and realllly s l o w at getting his computer thingy set up & the game going. Then he brought out the hats with the laser receivers on the hats. With the awful hats and the very slow game set up, wasn't much fun anymore, & we finally gave up & left. If they loose the hats & the slow, disorganized guy running the games, I would definitely return next time I'm in Florida - more fun than Disney! PS: Restrooms & staff inside were fine when I was there Aug 2014. The people we played w/ were also late and slow to get started - ok, my daughter & I were also 10min late. But we did play until three hours after our scheduled start time, so we got in the full 2hrs we pd for, plus probably some xtra. Think the owners take into consideration that, when you have a lg group, some people are just gonna be late . . .

I organized a laser tag outing for a birthday and it was a great experience. Not only do they have a wonderful staff but the laser tagging itself is the best I've gone to in Orlando.

We played Laser Tag on Saturday and it was AWESOME!!!!!! The experience was amazing. I am not a big fan of battle games, but after this experience I have change my mind. It is an activity that everybody in the family will enjoy. It is definitely an experience adn a GREAT one!!!. I will recomend it for a birthday party or even a family bonding!!!! My oldest son (15) just bought a paintball gun and is planning a group trip with his friends for this coming Saturday. I will definitely go back soon!!!!

Cynthia, thank you for the great comments. However, I believe this review was intended for Orlando Paintball, www.OrlandoPaintball.com which is the other company also doing business at this same location. To clarify, Battleground Orlando is the advanced laser tag games, and Orlando Paintball offers the best of paintball, all in the same INDOOR/OUTDOOR facility!

I went for the first time 2 weeks ago. I had such a blast that I went this passed monday and am going tonight again. Its really fun!!! I gave only a 2 on service because sometimes there are alot of customers in line at once and they can't help everyone at the same time... But its not their fault alot of ppl go there. Just wait your turn. Definitely worth going.

I come here for lazertag with a large group (10-20 people) every 3 months and they're always great. Besides charging a VERY reasonable price (we do half-off Mondays), we get to request what game we want (i.e. cops and robbers, everyone for themself, team vs team, etc.) and typically which field we want. They have two indoor fields and three outdoor, all huge and all with their own variety, though my favorite one has a large trench toward the back. Our group has been to other lazertag venues and typically they don't allow us to take pictures. To the contrary, BGO will even take the pictures for us. If you've got some time to kill and only a small amount of cash to blow, I'd recommend checking this place out.

This battle has everything you need. Their service is amazing. I reserved a game for my girlfriend and she had a blast with her friends. The guy who took care of us, a taller gentleman gave clear directions on how to properly use the equipment and wasn't afraid to make sure everyone was safe, even from each other. Overall if you want to blow off some stress or just have some fun, Battleground Orlando is the place to be. With indoor and outdoor fields, what's not to love?! They do birthday specials and Monday is half price! Make sure you know how to flank because if you don't you will be an easy target!

They ignore you and act like taking your money is the biggest hassle that could happen to them. We stood at the sign-in counter and three different employees walked by us like we were invisible--no "hello" or "I'll help you in a minute" or anything. Finally we followed an employee and got her attention with repeating "excuse me.... excuse me.... excuse me!" She said we had to have reservations to play laser tag and this was stated on their website. Actually, it is NOT. There's a calendar where you can see when others are playing but nowhere does it state a reservation is required. It even says the calendar does not reflect walk-ups which seems to pretty clearly imply you can walk-up and play. Finally, she agreed to let us join a group playing laser tag "on their next break" but couldn't give us any idea when that would be. She didn't know how to add us in the computer though and, when she tried to ask the other staff, they ignored her! At this point, we just gave up and left. You'd get more satisfaction just giving your money to a homeless person. That way you could feel some appreciation as opposed to these folks acting like you coming through the door ruined their day.

Tim, I am so sorry with your experience, especially for the fact that you did not even get to play! We actually did a full analysis of this situation, we got the head manager involved, pulled the security tapes and went through the videos and audio. We found out that you were absolutely right! It did not help that the girl employee that you were in front of could not help as she was new and not trained enough, and the manager on staff completely forgot he had spoken to you. The manager felt very embarrassed and upset about this incident when he realized what had happened. He got busy fixing a customer gun in the office and as a consequence forgot about signing your group up. So we studied this matter greatly, had a meeting about it with all of our employees (all 15 of them) and found that if we were better as a team or if the manager did not get side tracked, this never would have happened! It has definitely become a big lesson that we have learned from and hope this case never repeats itself. Hopefully you will give us another chance in the future, I would love to make it up to you... so you can actually experience playing laser tag at our facility which many are raving about.

I took 4 teenagers to this place last weekend to play laser tag. Oh...my...the smell. I think this place is surrounded by a landfill, a sewer, perhaps both!! Sitting at the picnic tables, I literally had to place my hand over my nose because I thought I was going to get sick. The only thing worse than the smell were the flies in the picnic table area. The kids had to use the restroom at one point and the boys all said it was the most disgusting restroom they'd ever seen. That's saying a lot for boys! When it was our time to play, supposedly 6pm, we were told they were waiting on the rest of the people reserved for that time. Finally, we were escorted to one of the indoor courses, B, about 10 minutes later, without all of the people scheduled. After a few minutes the host said we needed to move to one of the outdoor courses. So, the group walked over to the outdoor course and listened to the instructions given by our host which took probably just about 10 minutes. Just as she had finished and asked if there were any questions, another host brought about 10-12 more people. Apparently, the rest of the group for the 6pm reservation time. At the same time, our host was told we needed to go back to the indoor course A. So, we walked back and went to indoor course and had to listen to the entire instructional speech all over again for the benefit of the people who were too inconsiderate to show up on time! So now it's after 6:30 and they are just getting started. They played, took a break, then went to indoor course B for the second game. By the time this game was over, it was after 8pm. Our tickets were for a 2 hours session so I told the kids we were done and we turned in our guns. I was under the impression when I made our reservation that they would be taking the group on all the courses. Not sure if the host took the rest of the group to the outdoor course after we left to make up for the 30 minutes lost at the beginning or not. But between the smell and the lack of organization, we were done. By the way, when you think indoor course, especially in Central Florida, you think air conditioned. Not so at this facility, it's basically a barn. Which by the smell of it, might have very well been one before it was turned into a laser tag/paintball business.

This review is rare and contrasts from what we hear on a daily basis from our customers. ( The frustrating and interesting thing about reviews is out of 1000 HAPPY customers, only 1 takes the time to write a good review, but it only takes one customer to have a bad experience to write a review. ) Let me address some of your points directly. 1) We just replaced the indoor saw dust recently, so it is more aromatic with a fresh pine scent. It used to be a manufacturing/industrial facility fyi. We use sawdust as it is anti-slip and cushions your fall and does not get you as dirty as sand/mud. 2) We reserve groups in 3 hour periods to ensure that everyone gets a full 2 hours of playing. We do this to the minute, and sometimes we even give a little more. 3) In the two hours you do go through all of the courses. If this was not the case, there was an error made. 4) Sometimes it does get hectic, due to the popularity, and the lineups do sometimes require some patience. However, to be fair to our customers, our lineups are only at the start and are not even close to the waits you would find in theme parks. Thank you for your review as it helps us improve on our system, which we are continuously evolving and improving upon.
