So what are those surprise facts?
"[...] a staggering 70 percent of young gay men surveyed in London said they believed sex without condoms is more pleasurable. Meanwhile, 94 percent of respondents said they were more likely to have unprotected sex with a stranger if he was good-looking."
How is that a surprise fact? That guys like it better if they can stick their dick in another guy without having to fiddle with a piece of latex on their dick? That guys think with their dick and do stupid things around good-looking members of the appropriate sex?
This is not the problem.
Not even the deadbeat mentioned in the article is the problem who hangs out on Grindr all day and goes to group sex parties all night. Chasers are disturbing but I'm not sure they are as much of a trend as they're made out to be. A certain subset of people will always find ways of destroying themselves, be it unprotected sex, drugs, or any other kind of activity.
The problem is the growing perception especially among gay youth that AIDS can be cured. That it's really not that bad. That you can have unprotected sex if the other guy tells you that he's HIV negative. And that really you should have fun once in a while without worrying all the time.
That's the problem.
