I kept my topic on the Rule of Six in Editing, as well as my color scheme and font choices.  I added photo backgrounds to the sections with the least amount of text, because I found that doing so over sections with text made it difficult to read.  I also split the rule of six into 3 sections rather than 6, which might get tedious.  This also helped with sections that had less content than others.  The jquery makes the menu bar a lot cooler looking, but I might need to rethink my section choices, as it does skip over quite a bit of content on the page.

My name is Colby Natal and I am a Media Production student.  I wanted to make a site devoted to the craft of film editing.  I used a unified color palette to keep people focused on the site's content rather than it's aesthetics.  It also helps the colorful photos stand out more on the page.  I used Futura font because it's one of my favorites and I find Arial a tad boring.  I removed the borders from the tabs and fact boxes in order to help give the site a minimalist feel.

"It's not Pink!  It's Salmon!"  I changed the colors, and fonts to have a more Wes Anderson feel.

Hi guys, my name is Colby.  I'm currently a senior pursuing my major in Digital Media Production.  I am from Dallas, Texas, I do not speak with an accent, and yes I do have a cowboy hat and boots.  I enjoying gaming (digital and tabletop), making short films, soccer, and debating world history.  My goal is to one day direct a full length motion picture and to be the head of my very own production company.
I am very interested in learning more about web design and coding this semester and I hope to use this class as a jumping off point to become more technically integrated in my career.
