The haircut turned out fine, but overall it was the worst experience at a salon that I have ever had. I went in January of 2014. First off, this place cuts your hair dry. Even if you get a shampoo, they blow dry it straight before they cut it. I witnessed the same thing happening to another lady across the room with the manager (I think) as her stylist and heard them talking about it. I will admit ignorance on other hair types, but for my fine hair, a dry cut is at the very least inefficient. The poor stylist could not get my hair to do much of anything for the styling after the hair cut. Being part of the fifty something dollar price (haircut and style) it was a BIG disappointment. Typically after I leave a "salon," the stylist has made me look like a movie star. I got a simple wash, hair cut, and style. The stylist was very nice, but totally insecure. In her defense, I felt that a lot of the insecurity was linked with the manager and the stylist station set was bad. My stylist dropped her scissors at least once during the haircut; I didn't see if she cleaned them with anything more than a towel. At some point she cut her finger; it bled pretty good and a little got in my hair (which she did clean pretty well). I do fell bad that she cut herself, but it just seemed very wrong to have happened at all. The customer service at check in was pretty standard except that the girl looked unprofessional, but at check out the girl (different from the first) did not know how to charge correctly for my groupon and really didn't seem to care except that I kept bothering her about wanting it to be right. Also, I say girls because these girls looked to be straight out of high school. One appeared to be the nail tech and the other the massage person. Lastly and not quite as important as all that, depending on the person, the atmosphere was less than sub par for a place calling itself a salon and spa. The interior was outdated and much of it was cheap or cheaply installed. The whole place didn't strike me as clean, but that may have just been the poor lighting. At first I just thought that the lighting wasn't very good, but after being there a while I saw that at least two of the light bulbs in the over head fixtures were out, because why would you want to be able to see while getting or giving a hair cut or manicure or pedicure? I didn't see any of those nice pedicure massage chairs in the nail station area. There was also apparently a massage room in the back, but I didn't go further than the front room.

I loveee this place!... it is horrible to see how people say bad things about Rosalie,without geting the chance to know her! She does the most wonderful work! Hopefully I get a chance to visit her soon :)

I bought a $250 gift card at this location in June of 2013. The back of the gift card said that it expired in 6 months and it being December I called to see if I could extend the date of the expiration so I could give it to my mother-in-law for Christmas. The woman I spoke with who said she was the manager, Rosalie, was the rudest woman I have ever come across in my years of dealing with people in the customer service industry. She flat out told me that there was never a gift card sold to me and that if I actually did buy it, I bought it 4 years ago. Because of my account being compromised due to identity theft, I have since closed the account I used to purchase the gift card and was unable to print off bank statements to prove my purchase. She flat out called me a liar and told me if I tried to come up to the salon to try and straighten this out that she would call the police on me. I was astounded by this woman's gall. I ended up trying to contact my bank to retrieve my bank statements, but was not able to do so unfortunately. I did however go up there and this woman, Rosalie, is a hate-filled woman. I tried to give her the card number and date of my purchase, but she was grounded in her opinion that I had never bought this gift certificate despite the fact I had the card in my hand! She looked in a gift card book of records and said she had no record of it being bought, despite it being in my hand, but then she changed her story to I had already used it. I tried all avenues of resolving this in a mature, professional manner and she chose to be an underhanded, deceitful, rude, hateful businesswoman. I was shaking I was so angered by this woman's nerve. My options are either taking her to small claims court or eating the money. I have left a review on the website, complained to the BBB, and will continue to advertise my story, not to receive my money back, but out of principle. This woman needs to be stopped. She is a con artist. She is a horrible business owner. Save your money and your sanity and DON'T visit this establishment.

I will not be returning to this place and I highly recommend everyone else stay far away from it. First of all, Rosalie, the woman who I can only assume is the owner or manager, is the rudest person I've ever dealt with in the service industry. My sister in law and I were excited to have a groupon for mani-pedis at this salon. She called to make an appointment and called me horrified to tell me how unbelievably rude the woman was and that she would not let her make my appointment as she didn't have my groupon number (Which makes sense) So I called to set up my portion of the appointment and knew immediately I was talking to the same woman. SO RUDE. She acted like I was inconveniencing her by making this appointment. We both decided, we'd go ahead and go to the appointment since it was already paid for. Maybe they were having a bad day. When we got there, we noted that the place was completely empty. No customers anywhere and only 2 employees (Rosalie and one more woman). Rosalie informed us that their other nail tech had gone home and that one woman would have to work on both of us. We decided we would agree to this since we'd already made arrangements for our kids and had been planning this for a week. The woman who did our nails was very sweet and seemed interested in us, but very tired. Their building is a little run down and not the cleanest. Their nail polish selection is limited. And although she was very kind, both of our manicures were only as good as we could have done ourselves at our house. We both got shellac, and it was not the same quality at all as the shellac manicures I've gotten in the past. Absolutely will not be returning.

I ordered online from these theives, a product that was discontinued and it has been over a month since I talked to them about my refund. The person that answered the phone said oh we will return it today. Fat chance of that as she them proceeded to hang up on me without getting my name or information. I am reporting them. I give them a big fat 0

Bought the mani/pedi groupon, sadly I guess I will be out that money as I am not going to go to this place after reading all these horrible reviews. I went with a friend to get our nails done. Walked in, stood there for a couple minutes before someone rudely yelled "can I help you" from somewhere in the back. So I politely said, yes, we have the groupon for the mani/pedi, do you have time for 2 people? Rude reply "NO, we only take appointments". Me, ok, well can we make an appointment? Rude lady (whom I'm now realizing is the owner, Rosalie) "when can you come in?"; me, we can come tomorrow if that works? Rosalie, "we are closed tomorrow (insert long sigh from her because we are obviously causing her an inconvenience at this point). So she finally comes up front (this is after yelling back and forth from the front where we walked in to where ever she was in the back). She opens the appointment book and asks again, "when can you come in". So I started getting agitated at the rude customer service and in the middle of making this appointment, a girl walks in and Rosalie throws the pen down and walks off. So the girl works with us on our appt and finally we worked out a date for a WEEK later. Fine, whatever. It is now the day before our appt and I just got a call that they have to cancel our appt because she has people out sick. I will see what groupon can do to refund my money, but either way, I'm never going back to this salon, EVER.
