Apparently someone does care about Passbook: Microsoft.
The new Microsoft loves everyone equally, and supports all platforms – to the extreme in some cases, as with embedded support for Apple's Passbook passes in..

I run a professional networking group in LA's South Bay called South Bay Filmmakers (sbfm.org). We will have some big news to announce in the coming weeks regarding the film community in the Beach Cities.

Great concept but no one at home is going to buy one at $700 and I'm not leaving my iPad to charge at the public library.

We met with a composer yesterday to score The Concerto. Director asked me what I thought. Aside from being an experienced and talented musician, her next film has a $100M budget. That's a level of talent you don't run into every day.

Dear #Google, if Apple won't allow crawling robots.txt properly then adjust how you subscribe to a shared iCal. I think you have the brains to figure it out.

I find it counter-intuitive that we have platform standards like iBooks and Kindle yet publishers still go out of their way to build a custom app for their magazine.

This review is based on our recent buying experience of a Quest. In looking for a minivan we checked out Power Nissan and local Honda and Toyota dealers. The sales guys at Honda and Toyota were nice but the former were pushy and the latter were "take it or leave it" with the pricing. We worked with Steve Aldana at Power. From the onset he was friendly and extremely patient with us over the course of many visits and test drives. We drove around town, tried the car in our garage, loaded it with our stuff. Sat in a dozen Quests to find "the right one." Never once was there a complaint by Steve or his staff about the time we were taking. Never shuttled to a sale manager. Never pressured once to do anything but make sure we were comfortable with our shopping experience. We settled on a Quest (leaving behind the Odyssey and Sienna) and did some price shopping. I took those prices to Steve and he not only matched them, but beat them. Power Nissan worked hard for the sale and they got it. I'll go back to them and happily refer others.
