Without really expecting it, this has become the "go to" place for my wife and I when we are too tired to cook and don't want to go out to eat. It's no frills but the price is right and it's 2 blocks away. So the food is okay. I've had better, I've had much worse. The decor is decidedly strip mall. What really makes it for me are the people who work here. They are always very friendly and it just has a good vibe to it. The kids of the owners are often here doing homework, helping out, or getting underfoot and it just feels... homey. We've been coming here 3-4 times a month for several months and I haven't had a bad meal, or a bad experience yet. I've come here alone to sit, have a hassle-free meal and read a magazine. Sometimes that's the best special on the menu.
