On the bright side, it's better than Zantes (across the street) and they have an interesting twist on Chinese food Indian style. It's at least interesting if not delicious. However, all the dishes are unnecessarily cream and oil filled. This is a mistake that many Indian places make. Walk a bit further to Aslam's Rasoi -- and pay 3x more.
Response from the owner - in the last week
Sumeet, I'm sorry we weren't able to wow you with our food. Indo-Chinese is a very distinct take on Chinese that is widely available in India, and we try to be as true to that style of cooking as possible with those particular dishes. However, there is a whole host of other North Indian dishes that may be ordered if the former is not to your liking. A two-star review is definitely not representative of what you can expect here, and I am confident that we can show you a better time if you do decide to return. -Kuldip, Manager

Mediocre Indian at best. Ended up throwing it out. Got stomach distress after eating it. I would avoid.
Response from the owner - 8 months ago
Mediocre is definitely not what we're aiming for, Mano, and we're sorry that your food didn't hit the mark for you. We really hope you'll give us another chance to impress you. -- Kuldip, Manager

Decent Indian fare, but nothing special. Recommend delivery over a dinning room visit.

Spicy Bite is our local Indian delivery restaurant. We have limited options. The food is good, but inconsistent. For the price, the food should be really good all of the time. We've ordered and thought it was amazing, and a few weeks later ordered and had mediocre-at-best food. They frequently forget items in orders... little things... but it starts to add up over time (once the samosas, once the sauce for the samosas). The delivery time is usually 1-1.5 hours out from when you call. The chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala is SO dry that we order Paneer Tikka Masala. No biggie, but it would be nice if the chicken wasn't so dry. Also (this makes me sound like a cheap-o, but) I think it's annoying that Spicy Bite charges $.50 for a teeny container of chutney that is half full (and then half of the time forgets to put it in the bag). WTF? Items we order: Veggie Samosas Yellow Daal Daal Makhni Veggie Korma Paneer Tikka Masala Bread Basket

Nalani, first, I want to apologize. You should be receiving exactly what you've ordered on a consistent basis. The fact that this hasn't been the case is concerning. I plan on following you with the rest of the team on this. Beyond that, it's important that we're consistently providing dishes that are up to your quality standards as well as ours. We look forward to redeeming ourselves. Thank you for mentioning something. -- Kuldip, Manager
