KP Fontana Medical Center has opened its new Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Program!

The first open heart surgery was successfully completed on October 8th and was a coronary artery bypass graft with an aortic valve replacement.

Kaiser Permanente has made charitable contributions totaling $1 million for West Africa Ebola relief to two partner agencies, Doctors Without Borders/ Medecins Sans Frontieres and International Medical Corps. The contributions will support direct medical care and safe clinical treatment practices.
