Version 1.2.1 of the Chord Scale Generator is now available. This service release was necessary because of some problems with French keyboard layout (AZERTY). So, just update your CSG via the help menu.

The All-In-One Software Tool for Chords and Scales
Introduction
Chord Scale Generator is an award-winning software tool that provides all sorts of interesting calculations and visualizations around chords and scales.

Rather than building on a limited database the Chord Scale Generator uses powerful and generic algorithms to enable calculations for any tuning or stringed instrument such as guitar, bass guitar, ukulele or banjo.

This software tool helps you to find all possible fingerings for each chord. It is also possible to perform a reverse calculation and find corresponding chords to a certain fingering pattern or musical notation. As well, you can find matching scales to a melody or riff.
