what an idea! isnt this like feeding a dead horse?
I once wrote a Java DCOM-Connector using JNI (must have been for Java 1.2) Calling DCOM via JNI converts each and every bit and byte at least half a dozen times from ASCII to Unicode and back, copying it between several different heaps. Wow, what an achievement for a modern, otherwise XML-based system, to connect clusters this way Sounds like plugging a navi into the steering house of a Windjammer five mast sailor. X:)
