Kapteos introduce its new Data Acquisition System

This new device is an integrated oscilloscope with FFT functions. It displays measured E-fields directly in V/m. A great time saving!

Kapteos was present at EuroEM this July 2016

Kapteos' booth was very busy this year, due to the presentation of the latest version of the eoSense instrument and eoProbes showing improved performances.

On the booth, people were impressed by the possible measurements of electric field on a reduced-size TEM cell simulating a system to expose huge equipements like trains, tanks, trucks, ... to high power electromagnetics (HPEM). On this reduced model, 13kV peak voltage was applied and 325 kV/m EM single shot pulses were generated. The real time and accurate analysis of the pulses have been carried out thanks to Kapteos E-field probes.

Electrical fields measurement system eoProbe
This system allows to measure electrical fields in severe environments from 10Hz to 40GHz. It may be proposed for 1, 2 or 3 axis of the E-field vector.
The very small probe package is only 5mm  x 35 mm and can measure the electric field in the air, any liquids or gas (like cold plasma).
The probe design does not include metal parts meaning a non-invasive measure.
The mesured electrical field can be as high as 10MV/m or more under 4.5Tesla.
