It's a trend. Like Starbucks and their overpriced coffee. Really nothing special. The Food is not anything you wouldn't eat at another restaurant. Coffee is coffee. A Danish is s danish. A sandwich is a sandwich. But to some people, this nonsense is cool.

Great service. Love the bar. Moussaka is to die for. Lots of great options on the menu.

It's a lovely library - by far the best one in Brooklyn. The library has four floors of which I visited three. It's very old and could use some renovating, but it's clearly well-used and well-liked. The architecture is intriguing - it's oddly Communist with golden decals of neo-Greco-Roman figures. The main lobby has an enormously high ceiling like many old buildings, so that was lovely to walk into. While the library was quite crowded, I still managed to find a quiet nook to study in.

Petros is really hopping weekends and weekend evenings. Located right in the Metlox, and across from Shade hotel, it has a large open outdoor portion which has a great vibe. The food is consistently good, and the tables well set up. Don't expect to have a quiet, romantic dinner here - the acoustics are loud, and big tables come often. There is a very small bar on the inside you can wait at if there is a line.

Tried their shrub soda-I have never ever heard anything like this and was at the taste-it's basically jam and soda..can u believe it? They have 2 flavors:quince and strawberry..I tried the latter and loved it.. This item wasn't listed on their main board-it was mentioned somewhere on their counter ..hidden behind some glad it just caught my eye by chance..will come back to try quince and take back home a bottle..
