Corporate Report Wisconsin (www.crwmag.com)  is honoring businesses throughout the state that they believe exemplify corporate citizenship at its finest. The 2012 Corporate Citizenship Awards are based on criteria encompassing  the environment, community involvement, employee relations, customer service and diversity.
Are there companies you know that demonstrate these characteristics? If so, we invite you to nominate those businesses today for the 5th Annual Corporate Citizenship Awards, sponsored by Corporate Report Wisconsin. Nominations will be accepted until August 24th and the awards will be presented on October 4, following the Corporate Report Wisconsin golf outing at Geneva National Golf Club, Lake Geneva.

The West Bend school district is partnering with Second Chance Partners For Education beginning this fall with nine juniors. Regal Ware is going to be the host for the education center. This program is helping create a highly skilled workforce and preparing the students for career success.

The West Bend Department of Economic and Community Development is partnering with Economic Development Washington County (EDWC) to host a business financing workshop on July 17. The workshop is being help to provide information about the city’s new revolving loan fund which is administered by EDWC. The workshop is open to the public and registration is not required. The event begins at 8:30am next Tuesday, July 17. It will be held in the city council chambers on the second floor of West Bend City Hall (1115 S. Main Street). For more information, please contact the city’s department of economic and community development at (262) 335-5122.
