I started a podcast about traveling, in particular for people who default to hitchhiking and those traveling more-or-less indefinitely. I'll most likely be at the European Hitch Gathering this year (wherever it's decided to be?) and maybe Hitch Fest as well. It would be great to interview some of you or just chat on the show about some cool travel tips and share stories, just give me a shout and maybe we can do that!

Here's a link to the second episode which is all about hitchhiking itself, but feel free to check out http://www.freestyletravelshow.com as well to see the other other episodes to get a feel for it.

Happy hitching!

The #podcast I started has been accepted by #Apple and now shows up in #iTunes and Apple Podcasts here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/freestyle-travel-show/id1229479428

It's all about freestyle traveling; #hitchhiking, +Couchsurfing, indefinite travel and good times living on the go out of a #backpack.

There's already a few episodes up, go check it out, subscribe, rate and review. Cheers!

I wrote about what I learned from hitchhiking and how this has been great for business.

I'm one of 12 finalists in a photo contest that Sierra Nevada Brewery is doing. Help me out big time by voting for my photo, today's the last day of voting and the top 6 winners get an adventure trip: http://sierranevada.votigo.com/fbcontests/profiletab/Test-773/1578493

Here ya go, another Vegas story, a good one.
"I usually say the Vegas is a two-night kinda town. The first night is often a rampage, the second night is a crap shoot trying to chase the energy from the first night, then you wake up rundown and ready to move on before you get chewed up entirely. And that was more or less the plan for this trip, two or three nights and then we'd venture out to Utah, Arizona or whatever destination seemed to be pulling us in. "Plan" for me has never been a plan, though, just a thought, a guideline. Like so many times before, though, this "plan" was about to be thrown out."

Teton Gravity Research picked up on the story for our Kickstarter! Awesome! There's only 9 days left to get the rest of the funding, hopefully it all goes through.

Merging a backpack and a bivy sack using the lightest waterproof materials that are still durable enough to hold up for thru-hikers. I've been using it for the past year, figured I'd share it here.
