Coffee stains can be tricky. Not only do they discolor our carpet and upholstery, they're difficult to remove. Here are a few quick tips to help:

1. Blot as much of the spilled coffee as possible.

2. Mix a tablespoon of dish detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with 2 cups of warm water.

3. Sponge the coffee stain with this solution (using a clean cloth). Apply only a little bit at a time with the cloth/solution until the stain disappears.

4. In order to remove the solution from the carpet, sponge with cold water and blot dry.
