No, we're not a solely pork restaurant!  It's all about fun combined with excellent food and small production WINE (get it?), spirits and beers at sWine.  If you like cool music, good food, special cocktails, craft beers and small production wines, then we're the place for you.  If you're uptight, don't bother.  If you have a sense of humor, want to play free pinball and have your palate treated like a prince(ss), then we'll get along EXCELLENTLY!  Oink!

I have eaten at Swine several times over the last year and have sampled everything on the menu. It is all delicious and I can't wait to go back again. The service is great and you are truly missing out on one of the best restaurants in the city if you haven't tried it. If you are a vegetarian or a vegan, then you should make an exception for at least one meal.

I don't get it. This place just isn't any good. We ordered about ten dishes, including the specialty brisket and bone marrow burger...which Somehow was...dry! No thanks, folks.

Swine is such a cool spot. There's nothing like it in the West Village, and it's great to have a neighborhood spot with nice folks. And free pinball!

Holy ****! The food is so good! That's all you need know about this wonderfully pork-a-lishious bar/restaurant. We strolled in at midnight on Saturday night (it closes at 1) looking to have some dinner and our waiter strong armed the kitchen, (who apparently close up shop at 12) into producing an order of bone marrow and pork belly for us that was unbelievably wonderful. We will definitely be going back at a more reasonable hour to sample some of the other dishes and a few more of those bacon infused cocktails....

When I walked into Swine, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and atmosphere. The nice, comfortable, and unpretentious nature of the restaurant is refreshing and the service was very kind. I really wanted to like Swine, but unfortunately the food is wildly inconsistent and at times mediocre. I started with the chicken liver mousse and the deviled eggs to start. The chicken liver mousse lacked distinct flavor, and the provided side of relish was overpowering. The deviled eggs were tasty, but how hard are deviled eggs really. The standout of the meal was no doubt the bone marrow brisket burger. Cooked perfectly with high quality meat and ingredients. If I had just had the burger, Swine easily would've gotten a four star rating. Next, I had the potato chip nachos, which were delicious. Fresh chips smothered in cheese, jalapeños, and pork belly. I am salivating just thinking about it. The duck confit was next, and this was the low point. Muddled, a lack of imagination, and flawed execution were the flaws of the dish. Very disappointing. The dessert was good. Swine feels like the neighborhood restaurant you always dreamed of with its ambience and attentive service. But as stated earlier, the food is just too inconsistent. I think there is potential however. With a little more focus on the details, Swine could become a go to place for many meat loving foodies.
