I was born and raised in sunny southern California, spoiled by perfect weather, beautiful people, and access to the beach, mountain or dessert!
I braved the cold east coast winters for four years just outside of Boston and graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in Physics. Despite loving the east coast and Boston, I returned to San Diego where I ran a neuroscience research project creating ontologies for neurodegenerative diseases and launched a new collaborative software for neuroscientists at University of California, San Diego.
I left academia for a San Diego based software company where I started out as a Market Research Analyst and then became the Manager of Social Media Marketing, working on digital marketing, Sales Rep training, webinar strategies, and CRM implementation.
I have also offered my services in brand marketing and overall vision strategies of small businesses.
Most recently, I attended Cornell University where I earned my MBA, interned at a consulting firm working on Microsoft's global social strategy, and founded the first ever Johnson Women in Technology Conference.
I am now working for GE Capital in the two year rotational Experience Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP).
