Dr. Matthew Mardiney has been serving Baltimore and its surrounding counties (Harford, Howard, and Anne Arundel) for 14 years. During this time he has established himself as one of the premiere specialists in the areas of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. The Advanced Allergy and Asthma Centers was established in 2013 by allergy/asthma specialist Dr. Matthew Mardiney. After completing his 3 year residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, he went on to complete a 2 year fellowship at the world reknown National Jewish Center for Allergy and Asthma. Dr. Mardiney has overseen children and adults with very mild to severe allergies and asthma over the course of 18 years.

QUESTION: Can You Get The Flu Vaccine If You Have an Egg Allergy?

ANSWER: Yes. An egg allergy is no longer considered a reason not to get vaccinated against the flu. Even if you have a severe egg allergy, it is recommended that you get the flu shot.
