Hmmm... I love cultured butter, but sometimes it's tough to find. It would probably be possible to use cultured buttermilk as a starter for the cream, then make butter with it. Even better with grass-fed.

Yeah, it's hard to believe that they went ahead in this situation, but one thing puzzles me; I would think that these balls would be made with an emergency deflate  mechanism, whereby a passenger could give a stiff yank on a cord and immediately deflate the  ball.

I don't know why I can't reply directly but Gavin said:
"
You mention the blacks are bad on this TV. I don't need smart TV, but I do want great picture including blacks) and very low gaming latency. Do you have any suggetions in the same price range? Thanks :-)"

Yeah, It's hard to find reviews that focus on video quality. I have my own sound system and connect my PC  to the TV. Sound and smart features are IRRELEVANT to me. I buy a TV for VIDEO performance above all.

This review is quite good, relatively  speaking, but, like most, it speads itself too thin and should focus on the PICTURE!!

Great vid Steve!! thanks fo including the link to your inspiration. One question; have you tried this method with thicker cut fries?  I have been wanting to make English style beer battered fish and chips since getting ito deep fying and the "chips" should be much thicker than McD's.
BTW, compared to some of your other vids, i see you've employed an uncharacteristic sartorial restraint in your choice of shirt :)

Hi Ken :o)  Yes this was a very early video, almost pre Steve's Kitchen, hence the Nervous disposition and the Muted Colours.  Thanks for the great comment. I was away last week so sorry for the slow reply

I love the Idea of recreating Beer Batter chips, in fact I think what is available in the supers can be greatly improved. I will add it to my list. Thanks

Have a great week

It's funny that places like Walmart still charge in the $20 range for a basic HDMI cable.  I think that the reason few TVs come with one is because the retailers want to make the extra sale.

I had been using a stick blender in a jar, but I tried this and agree with Jamie about control. My stick blender has a whisk attachment so I can be almost as lazy!!

"Heat oil to 425 degrees"-- Really!!?? I agree thjey shouyld be fried on the hot side to reduce grease, but that's beyond the smoke point of most oils.

Great post office with very helpful staff. Lines can be long since the post-crash cutbacks, but the friendly staff is efficient and obviously skilled. I've phoned in a couple times about packages and it's been a similarly pleasant experience. They used to have a self-serve kiosk for mailing small packages outside desk hours and I wish they still had it, especially with cutbacks-- no idea why it's gone. I write this review in part because my experience contrasts so sharply with the horror stories I've heard from friends dealing with the post office in Brooklyn NYC!!! I guess it's in where you live.
