Starting a new personal political crusade this coming election cycle: campaign against the reelection of anyone in our representative government that's been in Washington more than two terms.

If there's one thing I've learned from this shutdown, it's that they're all all liars and corrupt. They are willing to hold us all hostage to further their own political agenda -- which is 99% of the time just to get reelected! They're willing to take food out of the mouths of children and lie directly to our faces. (See Jim Matheson's tweets, for example, about finding a clean resolution to the shutdown while voting against ending the shutdown: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/10/14/1247222/-The-Seven-Lying-Democrats-That-Betroyed-Democracy-and-Joined-GOP-on-HR-368-to-Deny-Vote-on-Clean-CR)

I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!  If you like my idea, +1 it, share it, get the word spreading among family and friends. Fresh blood and new faces only in the next election, and the one after that, and the one after that.

Yes, it means losing people like Pelosi and Barney Frank. But it also means getting rid of old baggage like Hatch and Matheson. If they want to stay in the political game, they need to find some other office to run for. Change things up. Or for gods sake just RETIRE!

As many of you know, we're working to establish and build a charity called SUM1 that deals with sanitation issues throughout the world. Right now we've just started a special campaign to fund an NGO in Northern India so that they can reach thousands and kids throughout 2013.

I've started a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo to raise as much of $5000 as I can. All the others in the team are doing similar projects to raise $500 to $5000 as well. If you can give even just a few dollars to this, great! If you can't but know someone who can, please share! If I can make this campaign go viral, there's a great chance that we can fund this group for a year or more to get the message out and put an end toward open defecation in India.

Too easy to forget in the rhetoric and hyperbole of the White House and media that THIS is why chemical weapons are banned. What's important is shutting those weapons down, not letting superpowers bomb the same innocent civilians. #EndWarNow

Now there is a glimmer of hope for a peaceful way to stop these massacres. "

Seems fine, but from a gluten-free perspective not many options. Lettuce is all shredded so they can't wrap burgers in anything but a bun. Most of the options are breaded. The fries were mediocre but the chili and cheese on them were pretty good. I was glad to see Pepsi Max on the tap.

I love these guys. The food is always amazing, and Nick is great about making sure I don't get any gluten. They just added a whole GF menu with zucchini noodles that they make themselves, and OMG!

Wow what a disappointment. I was part of a large party (30) having a dinner celebration and it was my first time dining here. Considering that almost $2k was being spent, I expected great things. The food was mediocre at best (my chicken was gristly, potatoes were tasteless, salad was bland); meager amounts (well, inconsistent is a better way to put it - some people who got the same entree as me had nearly twice as much); and cheesecake made me sick, which told me they cut corners and put flour in the filling, which should only consist of cream cheese and ricotta in a restaurant as expensive as Tuscany. Like I said, my first time there, but likely the last as well.

Wow! This is among the very best gluten-free pizza I've had since going GF. Perfect thickness for New York style, and the toppings are top notch.

0 for 2. We've eaten at this IHOP twice now when business brought us up this way. They've messed up our orders both times. And I don't understand why it is some kind of national threat for an adult to order off the kids menu; when you're only after about 200 calories, why is the answer "that would get me in trouble... I'll bring you the adult version" that turns out to be almost 500 cals instead. Are big people not allowed to eat silver-dollar pancakes?
