Service was very poor. They said they could not seat people due to the kitchen being extremely backed up. Our 20 minute wait turned into a 50+ minute wait. Food was mediocre. Will not be a return customer!

First & last time. Food was horrible. Hostesses were loud & obnoxious. But our waitress was by far the best we've had in Dover. Always made sure we were doing okay & never made our drinks reach half empty.

First time there we left after half hour when we had to ask for our waitress twice. Finally got drinks and the ice was all melted. Second time the food was nothing expected a steak house to be. Never going again

Looking at the previous reviews makes me think that there is a "Ruth's Chris" expectation here. Overall the place is fine. Not bad for lunch or dinner.

The only thing this place had going for them is the service. They had to deduct from my bill because of the numerous flies landing on our plates and the air conditioning system was dripping water on the tables and booths. I will say that the manager was honest in admitting that they have a serious fly problem this year. Not an excuse.

If you like less food, extra charges and rude service then this is the place to eat. I am a native to this area and have frequented this restaurant for many years. My kids and I like the cheese fries and ranch dip that comes with it. I often place a take out for 3 orders with extra ranch. Through the years I have watched what used to be a half order of fries, become a whole order. On this particular occasion, I placed my order no differently than any other time. My 15 year old daughter agreed to get the order because I was in pajama pants. When she came out of the restaurant, she informed me that she was only given one Styrofoam container of dip, so she asked the waiter to get her one bowl for each order of fries. It just so happened that the manager was standing there at the time and said in a surprising voice “Two more". So they brought her back two more containers less than 1/4 full. So when she came out to the car, she explained what had happened. Well the reason I sent her in was so I didn't have to go get them in pj's. So in I went. I was met half way in by the same waiter who had waited on her (I am guessing the two containers in my hand gave it away), and he asked if he could help me. I asked him if he could fill the containers up. He rudely replied that he could, but there would be an extra charge. I told him that was fine. In the mean time, I asked the bartender what came to the table with fries and she showed me a small ramekin that would hold butter or honey mustard. I was shocked! They used to bring a soup size bowl of dip to the table. She informed me that they get yelled at now if they do this. The waiter came out with my bowls and again not in a friendly voice informed me that he was going to give them to me free this time, but in the future it would be $1.50 a bowl extra. Really, I don't think so; in the future I will be taking my business to Roadhouse. I guess Lonestar thinks they are the only steakhouse in the Dover area.
