LTK is awesome. The food is always delicious and ever changing, hence the test kitchen. The bar is simple and sleek but the bartenders always serve up something delicious. I find it's a hidden gem due to the overwhelming popularity of remy's, del frisco, and legal seafood and often you don't have to wait to get a table. In the summer they have outdoor seating which is great for people watching in the up and coming area.

Made reservations a week in advance and they called me on the cell an hour before to confirm....seriously? Originally seated on the covered patio but it didn't even seem like we were in the restaurant so we asked to swich and they seated us next to a brick wall where we couldn't even see the inside of the restaurant. My view was of the brick wall on one side and the hostess stand straight ahead....these seats should not even exist. Staff was great but the food was terrible and the risotto was crunchy. Sent it back and got something else. Tables were so close I was able to measure with distance with the length of my cell phone....what's up with that? Expensive bland meal and couldn't wait to get out of there. I have had it with these trendy resturants that are big on reputation and cost but deliver very little in return. The next day we went to Jerry Remy's across the street and got value for our dollar. I'd rather enjoy a meal at the 99 sometimes and forget all the hype! Will not go back and probably am also done with Legals as well.

Excellent oysters & other small dishes. I love coming here & selecting from a number of different appetizers to get variety. I personally like it more than the regular Legal - the food selection plus it's more cozy & subdued. Other Legal is better for excitement & view. Yum!!

The hostess at the front desk was very rude and was doing dip don't know what his problem was other than that Awesome!!!! Diego was our server explained every dish thoroughly and tried my first oater which was an amazing experience!!

If you're familiar with Legal Seafood, this place will seem very familiar. It's one of their test kitchens, so they still have the famed Legal clam chowder, but the rest of the menu is different and subject to change regularly as the chefs try different dishes. The last time I was here, a lot of the dishes seemed to be more in the Asian fusion family, but I've also seen menus that have a more Italian/Mediterranean spin as well. I don't recall ever having a bad meal or a bad drink (I'm especially fond of the pomegranate lemon drop martini). The wine selection is fantastic. It's right on the water near the convention center, so be prepared to wait.

We got a clam pizza, buffalo shrimp, and fried clams. I didn't try the fried clams, but my friend said their tater sauce was really good. The clam pizza was super salty. I couldn't eat a full piece. It was covered in arugula, which I think was supposed to use the pepper to help with the salt. The shrimp didn't have the bufflao sauce on it, but it was in a pool at the bottom, mixed with cheese and onion. Great when you mix it, but hard to eat. I've had better at Pour House. Harpoon and Sam Adams give them specialty beers, and the Harpoon Pumpkin (not the normal one) was really heavy and did not go well with seafood. The service was great though! She was relay nice, and the view (even at night) was nice.

I usually go here for coworker celebrations, so on a weekday during lunch. I've had the scrod with breadcrumbs on top, with a lemon caper sauce, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and fried pickles. Everything was hot, and delicious! The sauce could have used a little more salt/fat...it was a little bland. Aside from that, everything was so so tasty. The fried pickles were crispy, the fish well cooked, and the potatoes satisfying. The portion was a perfect size, too. I almost finished all of it, and felt satiated. Our server checked on us the right amount of times (not overwhelmingly). Good place to go for some nice fish with a more upscale touch.

Had the Lobster Mac and cheese.. It was great!! I always compare pasta seafood to the world famous Joe Beef Lobster Spaghetti here in Montreal. And although this doesn't beat Joe Beef... Its really good, and the price was perfect!
